planning to get this phone for my dad. is it abit overkill as my dad not very tech, he uses nova 5t pro previously. just wanna get something similar but new.

U may wanna consider the upcoming X9B. With it's proclaimed tough glass protection & a 5800mah batt. Closer to his previous model being a mid ranger.

Not to mention it's only half the price or less than the M5pro. They're selling at ard 1500rm in M'sia now

Or you can ask any MY friend who can help to buy n pass u back to SG. JB City Square level 3 got an Honor store. I got mine M5P from there during pre-order launch.

No different, as the max is based on your phone. Regardless how fast your charger is doesn't affect it.

But some commented, not advisable to use it for lower Watts phone.

seems like magic 6 is just around the corner. still worth to get it now for around $850 used? malaysia sets with 2 years warranty not the local SG sets.

any lags from seasoned users though as alot of videos on douyin commenting about the lags.

so far i have not experience any lag..

$850 for used malaysia set, might as well spend abit more buy brand new SG set.

Magic 6 is around the corner for China release, but it will probably be quite a while before it reaches MY/SG.
