Just activated my sim and waiting for porting over from m1 tonight.

May I check for those using the roaming $12 for 5gb. Do they send you a new sim card then when we travel we have to switch to the card? Can't seem to find enough info on their travel sim card. Planning to head to Aust and msia back to back in Dec. 5gb at $12 seems like a good deal.

Yes, They sent another SIM card for the Travel SIM $12 for 5GB for 30 days. I just put the new card in 2nd SIM slot, switched Mobile Data to SIM2 and turn on Data Roaming. It works immediately in Taiwan and Japan.

Any feedback on Vivifi Travel SIM? Has anyone used it yet? Seems to be reasonably priced for the coverage.
Vivifi Travel SIM $12 for 5GB for 30 days is value for money. In Japan, you will need to pay at least SGD 30 for the local prepaid SIM. Good network coverage, usually via SoftBank or KDDI.

More than enough for me. Only use 2.x GB for my 29 days Japan trip. Use for Google map when do self-driving. When on Express train or Shinkansen, got free Wifi. Within the cities, always have free Wifi.

How do u track the roaming usage since its a separate sim card? Isit tied to our account and track on the website?

Thinking to get 1 for myself and 1 for my wife. Since going Australia and penang back to back. I believe 5gb is more than sufficient too. The most get extra 1 more lor. 24 bucks for 10gb quite cheap.

Oh is the 5gb data usable in sg? Will be back in sg for 18 hours before flying to penang again. If can use no need to switch back to the sg sim card.

Using this for 1 week alr. So far good leh. The only time I saw 3g was at a friend's condo at sol acres yesterday. 1st time saw 3g haha.

I just ported my wife's singtel line over to vivifi. Waiting for sim card. She's paying $25/mth at singtel there. Switch her to vibe only $10. Okay la small savings. Same singtel network no problem.

No difference to me after moving from Singtel a few months back. Recently when in JB, data roaming (free 1GB monthly) on 5G networks.

Samsung phone got mobile data usage counter under Settings menu. It will not be reflected in your Vivifi account.

For my last year Australia trip, I bought Optus prepaid SIM at their local 7-11 store equivalent. 40GB data for 30 days, only AUD 15 on promo or AUD 25. At the end, unused data can be donated to their charities. Don't buy at Melbourne airport.

Not sure if Vivifi Travel SIM will work in SG.

Hi guys. I’m on iOS. Just ported into Vivifi esim. My number under mobile services still shows old temporary number. Becos of this I can’t use my iMessage and FaceTime for my intented port in number. It keep showing temporary number.

manually keyed in under the mobile service , my number it just doesn’t apply. Reboot, airplane mode on off still stubbornly show temp number.

everytime I port in to new telco always have this problem. Anyone got the best way to solve this? Any help would be really appreciated

Someone recommended not inserting the new SIM card into your iPhone until your old number has fully ported over.

Try doing a network reset, though this will also remove all your stored wifi logins.

Oh man. Thanks I am using esim I’m being stingy not to use the activation count. Good workaround solution. Wiping all network setting is not very good. Cos I have many wifi password stored for different locations. A lot of trouble to find those password back. VPN profile install as well.
thank you very much

I had the same issue as u. Vivifi emailed me with 4 solutions. With the 4th being network reset. Unfortunately all the first 3 solutions didn't work for me. Only network reset worked.

On hindsight you should have only installed the eSIM only after your old SIM card has no network (indicating that port over is completed), similar like how you should not insert your new SIM card before your old SIM card has no network, so as to avoid issues with temporary number affecting iMessage/FaceTime.

Anyway since you already have the issue due to premature install of eSIM, you may want to try this to see if it resolves the issue.

Bro, just checking if Vivifi $10 4G Vibe Plan still comes with 3 months free 5G? Did they also forget to remove the 5G services after 90 days, wishful thinking??
