spoke to some ladies before they seem like they are jealous of other ladies husband that are earning more and able to give them a more luxurious life.

Some are worse. If their sister marry already and her husband is earning $X, the other sisters in the family will use $X as a benchmark for their potential partner. It’s like if they can’t get a guy earning >$X means they no “wind”
