I think you will need to transfer from domestic terminal to international terminal between your CTS - NRT flight and NRT - SIN flight?
If yes and you have enough time, you can just Taqbin your Tokyo shopping luggages to NRT before you fly to CTS..

Both are good but I always stay in namba area. Umeda is more a business district to me.

Yes, the Shinkansen station is at Shin-Osaka station, Osaka station is for local commuter trains and metros

do u mean Osaka station or KIX (kansai internationa airport)?

if going by train, both osaka station and KIX need to change at shin-osaka for shinkansen.
for osaka station, there is direct bus to Nagoya, cheaper but much slower.
