Hisense U8H, bought 1 year ago, is now officially "dead".
Super blue tint on it.

If those specs are correct, E7K looks like a downgrade of the E7H. Also, no guarantee SG version will be of the same specs as these overseas variants. Hisense SG likes to use IPS panels instead of VA panels, plus some other specs downgrades of their US models. Our 2022 U8H is a prime example of that!
Good luck with Hisense TVs! 😜
Hmm... so your idea is not to get these 2 models?
Is Samsung cu7000 a better choice? But i can't find info on whether this samsung model can play H.265 video via usb.

I'm not sure about the specs of those 2 Hisense models, so I'd rather go for TCL C645 for almost $100 more for the 43". TCL specs are more trustworthy. Since these TVs are so cheap, I'm not too bothered about the poor TCL history of warranty support. Spoilt? Buy another. Simple.

Re: CU7000 supporting H.265 via usb, while I'm not sure about this, the specs sheet seems to indicate so.

I'll leave you to decide if above info is correct or not.

Apparently no more stocks of U8H available, so warranty 1-1 exchange will be for U7K instead.
At least give you the U8K or UX la ... 😪 🤦‍♀️

My brother-in-law's 60" FHD Philips TV was replaced by a 65" 4K Philips TV under warranty. 💪 (y)

Anyone using hisense laser tv L9G or L9H? I noticed my ALR screen has a dark patch on the top right recently. It is not the len issue coz even the laser tv is not switch off . We can see the dark patch in day time at certain angles. Anyone managed to call the customer service to readjust the ALR screen?

Went to courts today to see the difference between u6k pro and u6k. No difference to me at least. Either save money and get the u6k, or get the u7k, that is distinctly better

I was hoping for U8K, but i think Singapore no stocks for U8K?
And UX too expensive for them to give as replacement for U8H la lol.
U8H retail price without discount then was like $1999. U7K right now is also around that price ($2199?)
UX on the other hand is like more than double the price of U8H and U7K lol. No way they going to give UX as replacement.

they offered 1-1 exchange for U7K?

Yeh that's what they say. Still waiting for them to contact me regarding the 1-1 exchange, Supposedly said will do within 3 business day. Until now haven't heard from them on the day of exchange.

Edit:
Update: I got my TV 1-1 warranty replacement today. Hisense 65U7K.

Maybe its just me. After the firmware update last night, my remote can only be used to turn on the set but not off. I can confirm the remote is still "handshaking" with the tv because can use the Mic function to trigger the TV.

Yep 1-1 exchange. But since U8H no more stocks available, they exchanged for U7K.
any luck in getting a replacement set ?
Yep. Replaced with U7K instead.
I think need to top up for UX replacement.
They didn't give me the option to topup for UX replacement
But anyways U7K MSRP is $2199 while UX is $5099. Don't think i would be wiling to topup extra $2900 just for UX model. The topup is even more than the cost of U7K itself lol.

Ok. Seems like Hisense is a good company. Anyway my rationale is to buy the cheapest. No expectation = no dissatisfaction. I bought Samsung, LG, Sony before. None of them give extraordinary service/ quality also.
