A Chinese woman went shopping in a kimono and was scolded a traitor by an aunty. The woman later explained that she was just cosplaying and apologized for her inappropriate behavior.

Guizhou Radio and Television Public Channel People's Attention reported that this woman in Guiyang, Guizhou was scolded by an aunty for wearing a kimono while shopping on Monday (25th).

The aunty asked her to take off her kimono on the spot, causing a dispute. The video shows the aunty angrily calling the woman a traitor.

The woman later explain she wore a kimono to cosplay and apologized for her inappropriate behavior at the time.

She said: "I did not expect that my actions would arouse everyone's resentment. I did not take into account the emotions of others and hurt the national sentiments of the people. I admit I made a mistake and sincerely apologize to everyone. I will use this as a warning and will pay more attention to my actions and behaviour in the future.

What the?! Tiongland is really jialat man. Wearing kimono also can be considered "traitor" LMAO!

Really modern day red guard monitoring and judging what people wear. Totally crazy.

CCP regime stirred the Japanese hatred amongst the tiongs to an insane level over there. That's why end up like this. Truly next level glassheart.

Went to kyoto kinkakuji dew years back and saw many Chinese tourists renting the kimono . The full package included hair styling service and some women really opted out to save cost. It look damn weird with the hair not tied and let down . Some even smoke. I have a good laugh looking at them.
