Can I still top up my NETS FlashPay Card at Assisted Service Kiosks, Top-Up Kiosks and SimplyGo Ticket Offices?

From 1st June 2024, you will no longer be able to top up your NETS FlashPay Card at Assisted Service Kiosks, Top-Up Kiosks and SimplyGo Ticket Offices. However, you can top up your NETS FlashPay Card with NETS App, at NETS Top-up Machines, local bank ATMs or at selected convenience stores.

Is NETS sunsetting or discontinuing the NETS FlashPay Card?

No, NETS FlashPay can still be used for in-store purchases at NETS acceptance points. Motorists can use the NETS FlashPay Card with their current second generation In-vehicle Unit (IU) or the new vehicle On-Board Unit (OBU), which is accepted at all car parks and for ERP payments.

oh yes yes, GTM is my main mode of getting transport rebates for my credit card, but looks like i cant do it when June 24 hits.

If you still can find a GTM, go ahead!

Singapore Pools was the first to ditch nfp recently, so what do you think about SAM?

Fairprice ditch ezlink recently too!

I dont think you can use Nets Flashpay card to topup at GTM by June 24. Basically, I am using credit card to topup Ezlink wallet (via amaze), which is then converted to Net Flashpay balance to pay my income taxes.

This cant work by June 24.

it is official, refer to my post earlier about topup at mrt. GTM had been replaced by the "TUK TUK"!

I have not tried this, try using Nets App to topup NFP with your "ezlink card"

My own workaround is use ezlink card and ditch nfp.

Noted, but can I check how to use ezlink card for various activities like paying taxes? Think that's not possible?

Our objectives are different!

Your risk is nfp gets "rejected" for payment at SAM, SAM has 5 mths to take action, refund can only be done at NETs office so far from my house, so do think about it.

My nfp has some card problem, cannot refund at mrt office, I spend it down to below 80 still cannot must go NETS office, I finally paid income tax and clear it to zero. Now I can go mrt to exchange for a new nets prepaid card.

One is a policy decision, the other is a redundancy n risk management issue.

The issue is when it is something systemic or error, then yes no choice.

Personally, using credit card with SimplyGo has been earning me some rebates .....

I used to have a EZ-link card as a back-up just in case SimplyGo is down ... then switch to NFP as my back-up as NFP is more readily accepted at more retail outlets ....
