Can I check that sg need to submit mdac everytime if we use egate ?
Below from their website. Supposedly from 1 Jan 2024, sinkies no need fill MDAC. But somebody said he couldn't clear egate w/o this. So I still fill it in everytime I go JB. Or am I missing something
I had entered Malaysia via Tuas checkpoint and returned via Woodland's checkpoint using e-gates.Hey guys, was talking to the officer at the immigration office. If you fly in via KLIA and enter egate, and return by car via Woodlands, there might be some teething problems especially since you don't have chop.
They mentioned there is an existing issue with entering via KLIA 1 and exit KLIA2 egates.
Has anyone done mixed mode entry and exit?
Mon to Thur, 8am to 7pm, registration counter located between Autopass gates (egate)
Might encounter long queue slow movement
Remember to fill up e-form in MDAC website first and get your emailed application ready. The officer will ask for it together with your passport.
I've a couple of AUS friends who will be entering JB via land.
Are they allowed to apply for E-Gate use at JB's CIQ or foreigners, besides SG, can only apply at KLIA?
Whatever, they will know soon enough.
Will definitely try since they must also submit MDAC.They can do so via JB custom too.
Just remember to submit MDAC first and see if the status is positive.
If yes, they can go to the JB 1st two counters to register, only on Monday to Thursday, 8am to 7pm
Do not listen to those junks. From Singapore to Malaysia, yes u need to submit MDAC. However, I also heard from someone that no submission also can use e-gate at JB, but this one I can't confirm.
I see...thats still egates.I had entered Malaysia via Tuas checkpoint and returned via Woodland's checkpoint using e-gates.
Entrance via coach & exit via bus, nevertheless I did register MDAC though, so far no issues.
Can be go in manual and come out egate. Just that passport will have chop for in and no out and vice versa.Go jb…. At jb custom … is it both in and out of jb must be both manual or both ways egate ?
