On Carousell, there are lightly used sets available asking between S$1900 to $2500 (new ones).

Mostly Japan sets but issue is, these sets come with shutter noise (from taking Pics) which you cant mute.

Hence, the hesitation to buy them.

hm... japan set... going japan soon... but... will it be 'region lock' or in jpn only?!?!?! i can live with the shutter noise things... i turn off system sounds on my same hamsum samsung phone.. and that solves the issues

Dont think its region locked.
On Carousell, there are listings of the Fold.
Unfortunately, you cant mute the shutter sound.

I used to love the Google Pixel Fold. Now, I’m not so sure

The Pixel Fold is Google’s first foldable, and the OnePlus Open is also the first one for OnePlus. However, only one of these was able to really utilize the power of a foldable for productivity.

Its almost a year since the launch of the PF,

I know its not available yet in Spore (may not even be).

How's the experience so far?

The Fold 2 may be out later part of this year.

Google US Store has an offer from US$1399 down from US$1799.

One theory that comes to mind is how Circle to Search might not be particularly optimized for the large inner screen just yet.
