just placed an order for local set ~$1208 - if suddenly china set w/ global rom can use e-sim then i will cancel the order too :ROFLMAO:
if i use normal GAN charger i know i wont get 80W speed but will i still get PD speed? (45~65W)?
iirc OP8T support both PD and dash charging speeds...
only 8T support PD, the other/newer Oneplus phones only support their own dash/supervooc

Seems the case now is that China set with India/global rom is the way to go.
Local set price marked up is too ridiculous Unless you really really need the local warranty.

When I see the Honor Magic 6 Pro then I realised Oneplus really think we are carrot. Honor mark up much lesser, give more freebies. I think I rather buy a Magic 6 pro local set then let oneplus earn my money.

Ya is either go honor or oneplus 12 export ba. Honor got crack screen protection and the phone wins more dxo awards compared to op12

to me, export and local doesnt do much diff unless u die die need esim and local warranty. paying 300 more for me not that worth considering we can almost get another phone like iqoo neo9 with sd8g2 at 400+

dont understand the 5ber esim route as this still requires a physical sim + use their app, am I right?
esim is without the card.
so local set = REAL esim + 2 yrs warranty

worth of ~300SGD topup from other region set?
you decide if you will cancel your order :D

For esim it's still 2 sim slots and esim will override slot 2 when you choose esim. So no different than placing 5ber in slot 2

In fact 5ber might be better because can switch profiles on the fly. Esim have to redownload the config

From what i saw in the video, its more for those phones that do not have esim function. Also, i believe you can download and store multiple esim profiles in the 5ber app to switch on the fly.

How is the battery life of your OP12 usage? I'm seeing mixed reviews on Reddit OnePlus thread despite Google search mentioning OP12 is one of the best battery life phones comparable to Asus Rog.
