IMHO.Hi, I went to a phone shop regarding Simba Sim Card as below. I intend to give this a try on my backup phone if the below statements are true with no strings attached.
* I was told that it cost $10 per 30 days. If any of the following below is used up (ie: 100GB used up in say 2 weeks), I won't be able to use local data and will be able to use it again after a top up of $10 30 days later.
* There is no contract and just my NRIC will do.
* The most I will ever pay is $10 per 30 days and no more.
* I will be given a new number.
* If one day decide don't want to use Simba, just don't top up and the number will expire.
Sounds too good to be true. What is the catch??? Can anyone verify if it's true? Thank you.
1) 100GB local data.
2) Unlimited calls incoming and outgoing calls.
3) 300 mins to landline where as if finished, you won't be able to call to any landline..... I mean that's fine by me.
4) Free caller ID
5) 30 local sms

IMHO.This is 5G plan right? If yes...Looks good to me. Some of my aged relatives who are with 3G plans with other telcos intend to switch over to SIMBA too before July.
But I thought the free outgoing call to mobile lines should be limited to SIMBA mobile?
I actually thinking getting a backup plan with SIMBA too.
IMHO.I wonder why ppl don't want try heya instead of Simba? similar type of plan but heya is from Singtel...
I am using this. Tag with top up promo and shopee coins, $2.80 per 30 days.they have senior(60yo and above) plan 20GB at $5
heya is good, but last i checked they dont support roaming sms? those need otp would be a headache. also data roaming is 3 countries now, but the $3/GB is good.
Heya roaming is limited to 3 countries. And some people rather use MNO than MVNO.
CorrectReception not the best.
Some time call does not come thru..
Not 99 percent reliable like Singtel.
Maybe just 75 percent reliable.
TS , you have to weigh the pros n cons on this Vs the price
Some how, I could not use the Simba simcard to do normal call in/out. But using Singtel Simcard can.
& what phone you using

IMHO.
You're right. For me, the 5G looks good.![]()
I believe it could be trial plan. That I don't know but I think should be 4G (I could be wrong).... doesn't matter much to me... anyways using this for my backup phone.....
I heard Simba upgraded their users to 5G. If plan 5G then should be good.
. Im not a heavy phone user.IMHO.Bro, "looks" good only ahI believe it could be trial plan.
