Out of curiosity, anyone using skechers for their runs? Would like to get more feedback from real users as I have just gotten a pair of walking shoes from skechers (Skechers Slip-ins: GR Swirl Tech Speed) really nice to walk around with. Probably will try GoRun Ride 11 if I ever find them when I go to HK as it is not available in China.

I was using sketchers many years back, but seems won't last, adidas seems better for me, but I guess depends on the types too :)

Better check in store for the feel of Gorun Ride 11. Too much padding for my liking. You are also a fellow heavy sweater, go and feel it if you can accept it.

the BMAI必迈 I have, 惊碳 Mix Plus is positioned as 全民碳板跑步鞋 (carbon plated running shoes for the masses), which is meant to be user-friendly, not for racers, targeting those without much training. In general, the propulsion from the carbon plated is relatively mild and a smooth role over without having a rocker at the forefoot. It is easy to run with, although I am not sure why my calf muscles felt strained during my first 2 runs on this pair of shoes. It should be used as a daily trainer.

In my opinion, the shoe in their lineup closer to pb3.0 should be the 惊碳fly

乔丹飞影pb3.0 is for those with running experience and training, or for competition (5/10/HM/FM). It is a fast and relatively stable running shoe, by making one run at faster pacing with relatively ease. Fore foot strikers or mid foot strikers will enjoy this pair very well. Rear foot strikers are ok as well but the strength of its midsole lies on the fore foot area. The foam reacts well below 6min pace, slower paces like 7-8 min pace will feel less shiok. Personally, it's a pair that makes me want to go fast, hence it is very suitable for racing. The midsole foam is also very nice to walk around with. Surprising the outsole rubber on the heel part is the most lasting amongst my running shoes (Adidas, Brooks, Puma, Qiaodan, Saucony, BMAI).

How about 乔丹飞影pb4.0 ?

i don't have pb4.0. Based on online reviewers, heel for pb4.0 is wider thus more stable. My understanding is that not much is changed to the midsole. Not sure if anyone here has pb4.0 to give comments.

my bad, there are some tweaks to the midsole.
pb3.0 is firmer and bouncy (韧弹), pb4.0 is softer and bouncy (软弹). pb3.0 will have less reaction time to the bounce, thus feel faster imo, which is my preference.

I watched this review. Look like it's overall improved

Saw in the video that the tongue stick out too high. One of my peeve for shoes is it stick too much, can be irritating, as I will feel it while running. Think I will skip the 4 series and wait of PB5.

@sph777

Kofuzi went UK to run the London Marathon, hoping to PB. Was on track to hit 3 hr. But hit the wall around 25km.

HM split @ 1.29 (4.15/k)
25 - 30k split @ 4.48/k
30 - 35k split @ 5.42/k
35 - 40k split @ 6.17/k

After hit the wall, he just take it easy and chill with the crowd. Started walking around 35 - 40k split and found another runner struggling hard and gave him a pat on the back to encourage him. Nearing towards the end, can see that he is struggling a lot but still waving/clapping hands with the crowd. Ended the run with 3.23 hr.

He subed 3hr in the last year Tokyo marathon. What happen to him in London to hit the wall so early?

He seems to be breathless from 21km onwards. Tried to slow jog to build back the momentum but lost it. Kept dropping pace until he eventually started walking at 35km. During that time, he decided to stop going for times and just celebrate with the crowd to keep his mental going.

Interesting documentary now airing on ESPN or their streaming services. I have no access to either.

Just have to wait for a later episode for an answer. Coz this is within his performance judging from Tokyo marathon last year.
