can try
adidas boston 12
asics novablast 4
brooks ghost max
new balance Fresh Foam X 1080v13

I had tried the boston 12 n had a feel on the novablast 4, the foam is not really soft enough to me.

The boston 12 if you're heel land 👌 but if you mid sole land will be a bit firm for me and I think for young people still ok but senior citizen prolong use will have knee issues.

Good weather before rain and jog to the gym for 15 minutes, sweat like hell 🥵

After gym, rain stopped and run 15 minutes again to makan dinner also feel hot 🥵

My pace for both is about 7.5 minutes only

I am yet trying to maintain a pace where I can jog forever

WIth my limited (not a fan of high cushion) experience with high cushion shoes, I used the ASICS Novbablast 2 and the NB Fuelcell Rebel v3 for recoveries and LSD when I expecting sore feet in the end. I can feel they help compare to my usual daily trainer with firmer foams.
I would suggest giving the Asics novablast 3 or 4 a look. as they are lighter than my v2 and still retain the soft characteristic.

LEt me know if there such a pace that can jog forever.
Let me intro you to Niko Niko running. Design for old folks where speed is not a priority, but safety and longer session is the focus. PErsonally never tried, coz too slow and boring and not for one with running goals.

Anyone here using or used Asics Nimbus 24 b4 ah? Its on flash sale on Shopee & just nice got my size. After all the coupons discount, will cost $83 nia. My last Nimbus was in 2018 coz it got heavier and heavier until it was very tiring on the ankle, so I stopped using Asics and went around trying other brands (on Adidas now). I know the current one is Nimbus 25, but I'm ok with 1 season older.
I really don't understand why people are still buying such old models like Kayanos or Nimbus, or Asics gel shoes in general. This is 30-year-old technology. There have been lots of new developments in terms of technology with better and lighter materials. Gel is a heavy material and shoes with gel will naturally be heavy. Pls move on with the times. If you're a fan Asics, why not try their newer models which they've gotten rid of gel, like novablast, metaspeed etc. Personally I don't care for Asics shoes anymore. They used to be good but not anymore, IMHO.

Wah I gave brooks a chance in 2010 (when brooks was still under Sportslink and were sold at dirt cheap prices). Bought the ghost then, found it so so nia.

depends on what you seeking for
under sportslink, i had my brooks pure cadence 2. enjoyed it.

now on brooks hyperion tempo and hyperion elite 3. Their midsole is not the most responsive but still very decent. hyperion tempo is very good for track runs and run fast.
In terms of fitting, they are among the best if not the best i had. Wear and run, nothing to get used to.

I had the Nimbus 21 I think.

Just purchased 1 for $95 with 950 coins back.

Very difficult to get sizes on Asics official for some older models.

lol i dread soft midsoles super awful for ankles. i have ankles and knees issues due to football, athletics and army. Soft midsole for me is a no no. Different people different preference. 😉

I checked the weight is about 290g. Definitely it is on the heavier side for me. Now most of the running shoes I aim below 250g.

Maybe u can try saucony range 😉 like kinvara , glide etc ..
Currently I am wearing endorphins speed 3. Weight is less than 230g but this price is on the high side .

saucony endorphin series is very good especially if one can get used to the speedroll technology. Love its midsole foam, but outsole wears off fast and lack of grip on wet floors. Saucony Endorphin speed 1, 2 and Endorphin Pro 3 user.
for heel strikers, recommend don't choose endorphin series. Go for Ride or Triumph.

Niko Niko running is really veryyyy slow. But solidly good & SAFE for beginners (regardless of age) transiting to jogging / running from brisk walking. The research behind it is suprisingly good.

Good choices.

I would add Feiying Team 2.0. Did a 9k first run with it on Friday. Feels like a cheaper version of Rebel 3. Although from 7k, it started to become firmer. Price only $60.

Feiying Plaid is overkill but the cushioning is tops. I was using it only for intervals initially.

Recently did two zone 2 runs with it. Damn, felt like cheat code! Easily went from 7min/km to 6.45/km. The thing is I felt effortless. Not even fair. :s13:

Both runs ran 7k until bored. Last 2.5k chiong under 5min/km. Shiok.

You mean Qiaodan Feiying Plaid? I love Plaid. I wish I could wear it for every run, but I need to rotate my running shoes.

do try 飞影pb3.0 and 4.0. when i do my 10k runs on pb3.0, i get near my PB without really huffing and puffing.
am sure you will be a happy user. 😊

To me, Plaid is better than PB3.0 in every way. I have both PB3.0 and Plaid. Haven't tried PB4.0 becos of my experience with 3.0. It's not a bad shoe, but pales in comparison to Plaid.

have you tried adidas adios pro 3? i am curious to know difference between these 2.
pb3.0 does not do slow well, whereas aap3 can do fast and slow well in terms of bounce from midsole.

Lost track with Qiaodan many models. So the Team 2, is the high cushion trainer?
