anyone knows how many number can i sign up for simba?
i am currently using giga and i have four numbers which i intend to port over to simba.

thx
Believe most telco limit up to 4 max, so SIMBA should be the same.
i am still dumb abt this post or prepaid…

i believe the giga is prepaid

is the simba $12/ mth also prepaid?
Giga is postpaid, prepaid is only available under ST, SH, M1 & SIMBA.

I am also curious if anyone has tried mobile hotspot using Simba and cancelled their home broadband?

I have M1 500mbps and I have been waiting for M1 to drop their broadband prices to match with Simba/Whizzcom. But since they haven't, I am considering just cancelling the M1 broadband and living with mobile hotspot for sometime.

Then if it becomes frustrating using hotpot, I then subscribe to the Simba 2.5gbps annual plan. It takes about 12 months to break even due to the 1 time costs of NLT+activation. After that you start savings
It works but not for intensive usage, stability depends on area and users, definitely cannot compare with broadband plans.
All in all, it depends on what you are expecting out of it.

Mine is sim only 100gb plan. What if I don't top-up $10 to the wallet before end of 1st month? Will my plan terminate automatically?

I can't receive OTP in Beijing.

Anyone having issues with receiving OTPs regardless where he/she is?

Want to change my plan. Day 25 today. Sianzzzzz
Weekly I used to top-up my MRT card via SimplyGo while in JB & had no issue getting SMS OTP.

Recently my Bank has finally decided to abandon SMS OTP & use its app to approve - also no issues.

My brother encountered the same problem when in Japan (March 24).

Touched down and able to received SMS but noticed that he is unable to receive SMS a few days later. Roaming is okay. Near the end of the trip, able to receive SMS again.

His wife and daughter also using Simba but no problems at all.
No idea what's wrong though.

Believe there's a grace period of 30 days, which thereafter will be terminated.
Is that for both postpaid and prepaid?

I want to port out of this SIM to Circle Flexi and then upgrade the circle Flexi to the $5 20gb plan.

Circles Flexi isn't available to be ported to at all?
Or you looking to port SIMBA to replace Circles Flexi and then upgrade to $5/20GB?

Originally my number was Starhub Prepaid. Circles flexi is available for porting, but first I need to convert my prepaid to postpaid. So I ported to simba. But I also need to wait for 30 days on Simba to avoid the port out fee.

I just sent out a support ticket to Simba:

I just received my new SIM card and the plan is SIM only 100gb. I would like to know if I don't top up $10 before 30 days, what will happen?

Is there a grace period or will my number get terminated immediately?

Also I wish to know if my plan is prepaid or postpaid?

Can I port out after the 30 days to another postpaid Telco and retain my number?

You need to pay and keep your line in service to be able to port out.
So either wait for 2 months in total, or pay $30 port out fee.

I recieved this reply from support, I beleive immediately after 30 days over, I can port out, I have 21 days grace period?

Dear Customer,

Thank you for contacting SIMBA Customer Support.

Upon checking, your port-in request is successful and your SIM-Only 100GB for 8xxxxxxx is activated and its under postpaid account.

Please be informed that you have 21 days from the time the new billing cycle starts to renew your mobile plan before the system automatically terminates your mobile service.

Should you need further assistance, please do let us know. Have a great day!

Kind Regards,
Jxxxxxx

Go to this url and click on the link relevant to your plan to know all the details:
https://www.simba.sg/cis

Thanks! I just read the critical information summary:

Unsuccessful payment for plan renewal will result in a reversion to a Basic Plan which includes only Basic Data Services (192Kbps), incoming calls and SMS. This means that you will not be able to enjoy full speed data, make any outgoing calls nor send SMS. This Basic Plan will continue for 21 days unless the Main Plan is renewed successful

This means after 30 days, the plan becomes Basic plan which is a line in service and I should be able to port out without incurring the 2nd month fee?
