last week i stayed at FWH T2 Level 22, room 939. Facing Highland Hotels. On a cloudless night, u could see KL citylights,
It had a bathtub.

But the LCD TV is faulty (retain residual image, aka delayed shadow)

Hi all. Holding a gold card currently. Been a long while since I've been to Genting. Just wondering whether there's an email address/ phone number I can reach out to to ask for comp rooms? Thinking of going in June. Thanks all!

You may call +60 3-2718 1118 to enquire whether there's comp room available for booking on dates of your choice.

Quick question for those who play ETG Blackjack at Genting

1. Is double down allowed on everything or is it allowed only on 9-10-11?
2. Is surrender allowed?

I Just returned from Genting trip 21-24 Apr.

Played ETG Blackjack most of my time there. I think i played about 7-8 session of it. Win every session (My target profit to leave is always half of my base) then i will leave and breakeven on one session. Did not lose any session.

Surprisingly, very little ppl play the ETG BJ, alot of ppl playing roulette and dices. Sometimes there will be someone there not playing basic optimal strategy, then you might want to stop playing.

I did double on some 9 and 10 and every 11. Did not notice whether can double 8 or below because i wasnt interested to double. However, you cannot double on Ace + any card. I wanted to double on some Ace + X card but not allowed, so you can only hit. I think thats the edge they taken away from us..

Surrender is allowed. There is also insurance and offered even money when you BJ and house have a Ace.

Min bet is 10ringgit and max is 18k. Machine is pretty cool. Big screen and looks new.

Thanks and congrats on really good play and money management .

For non 9-10-11 doubles, I was only interested in the Ace + any card as these are the only ones that give an edge using basic optimal. The loss in edge is very small. The following site calcuates the edges and generates the optimal strategy based on the rules being played.

Don't really understand why there will still be people not playing basic optimal on ETG. For blackjack on table, there is the worry that the pit boss might scold you if you keep looking at your phone for hands you are not sure. For ETG, you can happily check all you want with no one bothering you.

Yeah. You can check any time you want but beware that there is a time limit for every action. Cant rmb is either 10s or 20s but i remember its enough for you to think. There will be dealer walking around but i doubt they will stop you from looking at the chart too.

When i was playing, there is a person who kept spliting 2x tens VS dealer 4-6 a few times. Luckily the dealer still busted every time. If not, i would have walked away...

Playing at ETG BJ really super chill. No one will stare at you unlike table games. Lesser pressure and no one hurry you for actions. You can drink at the machine and play mobile games while you play the BJ if you alr memorized the basic strategy. That area can be a little cold at night, so remember to wear jacket. Toilet, drinks station and ATM is literally beside the machines.. You can win and withdraw straight away. Hahaha
