Just get a shoe from another brand, it's a sign for you to do that

>> Ran this with ANTA carbon plate shoes

I was deciding between whether to go for NBRC or ASICS today, but decided to go with ASICS since they were doing a 6km tempo run today too. Maybe next time might join NBRC, because I think 8-10k tempos are good training for the shorter 6k. Trains my mental discipline to run more efficiently.

NBRC is technically closer for me as well since it's 2 stops earlier than ASICS. Drop me a pm if going for it next time and if there's a tempo run 😂 . Haven't joined NBRC before though, but if I am not wrong, NBRC does the tempo run twice a month compared to once a month for ASICS.

Weather was just too hot/humid tonight, can't quite perform as well as cooling weather. But tried my best.

Usually, there's a slower pace group that sets off earlier. And majority of the runners are actually in those groups. The faster pace group are the minority. So, don't be too worried to join the runs there.

Tbh I went cause colleagues went. Prefer to run on my own in the early morning before work haha. If I do go again will pm you

OTH running track is certified by our SA. So 2.4km is legit distancea and flat. As per @ctan84 mentioned, can test our vVO2Max if we go all out.

hi guys, can seek your advise.. my kind of wearing of my shoes, does this indicate supination (Under pronation) or is it normal, cos the front part actually is perfectly fine... confused.

My supination wear is worst than yours. The lateral side outsole will been worn off on some shoes. But I am not concern and still wears neutral shoes and run high mileage. As long as no injuries due to running form or gait, best is don't force a change.

Was wondering why you run in the evening 🤣 I'll probably join if they do more of those tempo/threshold runs, intervals only if it matches what I am doing. Once or twice a month like that.

Sometimes the heat is too intense, the runs get harder in the evening compared to in morning. Maybe you can hop into their morning long runs if they have those.

Those that force a change of gait end up with a higher risk of injuries.

Nice one bro. This is a proper meal for a real man, not those fast food or hawker pseudo kid's meals

Actually sometimes, I will also eat MacDonald :lick:

Because really eat until don't know what to eat liao :s13:

I also tried not to eat rice because wanted to lose weight but now I run n exercise everyday, I must eat rice. If not, no energy.

But then losing weight to me is no more a problem as I know how to lose weight liao.

I had lose about 10kg in half a year after I retired. From 83kg to 73kg now.

Running outside really helped a lot in losing weight and my target is 70kg so that my BMI is normal.
