How do y’all make sure grey dealer are selling authentic? Nowadays rsc don’t do authentication check already, and super clones are getting so good until they even clone the movement inside the case..?

Buy from reputable grey with shops.
But then sometimes they also rarely check the inside of movement etc.
Maybe only w4tch xchan do so, as per what they advertised /marketing

As the saying goes, buy the merchant and not the watch. If the merchant has a long track record, what he sells will be authentic. They are not your fly by night people who gets easily hoodwinked by shady characters supplying them replicas and they would not want to risk destroying their business and reputation for a mere 10k profit by selling a replica to their customers. Authentication is really not necessary but if want peace of mind, can go to a reputable watch repair shop to do it. I think it’s really redundant to try and do authentication at RSC.
just my 5 cents worth

Hmm sometimes it’s not the merchant themself, but those that sell to the merchant. The grey dealer is reputable, but do they vet their supplier? Any Tom dick or harry can sell to the grey dealer….There have been cases where people try to sell their super clones to grey dealers.
Gotta admit, the super clones now very scary. Watch a few videos and sites, from exterior can’t even tell side by side, they even put in a fake reverse-engineered movement. Only the hairspring and balance wheel gives it away.

One should ask himself if he can accept if the watch is not authentic. If not then take steps to mitigate that risk like going to a reputable shop and verify. Honestly, in singapore, we lack professional third party watch service shop la. Those really authentic ones people complain too expensive... those got good reputation but shop has no proper equipment then people say tom dick harry open one.

Furthermore... most greys are used and probably has their caseback open at some point which may void the warranty. Unless you use a loupe to check when you buy which most of us dont...so why people are so concerning about the warranty in the first place? lol even with loupe you might not even tell if service is done using proper tools
