If customers are satisfied, that's good for business too, and they can justify investment in tech based on real ROI. As it is, businesses must have come out with bogus justification for investing in poorly implemented tech.

But I was earlier speaking from customer's pov.
Since when did corporations care about customer satisfaction in this current times. 🤭

Apart from SingTel, Gomo, Vivifi and the useless M1, which other telco have e-sim? The issue is the changing of sim-card. If they charge for every e-sim, then we have an issue.

Tell that to the iPhone users who keep wishing Apple to release the esim only model in Singapore so that local telco will be forced to start offering esim :sneaky:
I feel it doesn’t make sense for telco to charge. We doing the scanning and installing of e-Sim. Why need to charge us? Today u buy any e-Sim from Shopee so cheap like $3-4. Don’t tell me we have to pay simi $10.90 for 1 e-Sim installation. Haha

This is inevitable honestly, since Apple has started the ball rolling in US.
Sooner than later, other brands will follow suit, i.e. Samsung, China brands etc.

It is a Singapore thing la. Everything will need to charge. You imagine this. China has 1.1b hp users. If everyone pay $10 to install 1 e-sim, it is 10b. Imagine how big is the market size if everyone change phone every 1-2 year. This exclude some kuku who install wrongly.

Might be that our market is small thus, the charges levied to try as best to breakeven "cost".
Like you said, bigger markets like China does not have such practicies, but only in SG is there such nonsense. :ROFLMAO:
