Who can advise? my wifi dl speed only around 300Mbps when so near the router.
Using a TX-AX6000 router from China.
Why is it way too far from the advertised 2.5Gbps.

During installation, I saw that direct from ONT to Installer's phone can reach 2Gbps though.

300Mbps sounds like the limit of 1x1 802.11ac WiFi, try using other device with better WiFi like 2x2 MIMO. Typically laptops have 2x2 MIMO WiFi.

Its a great deal for biz internet compared to the incumbents. Assuming they can deliver...

Thanks for the replies.

My 16 Inch MacBook Pro 2019 can only get max 900+Mbps with wired directly from a 2.5Gbps router port. That's a far cry from the advertised number.

But wireless as mentioned only 200 - 300+Mbps.

Is your mbp capable of anything beyond 1GbE in the first place or are u using a Thunderbolt 10GbE dongle

a lot of people are not aware that their current personal devices are 1gbps max.

So telcos offering 2.5gbps, 5 or 10gbps are misleading people to upgrade.
Having a product like that is not misleading.
Better than term tpd insurance products sold with a misrep which u cannot test and see outcome

Did they state the customers' equipment need to support this speed too? If not then it is misleading.

Already got 1 user here asking why cannot get 2.5gbps. Expect more to ask such questions.
