That's why I was asking is it better to wear knee support especially for active senior citizens.

My own belief, no injury and maybe a tingling sensation, don't wear support. Coz the easy days are part of triggering muscle and skeletal adaptation, these organs need to experience the loading in order to adapt. Putting on the support would take away the loading that trigger the adaptation.
As long as your trainings doesn't overload your muscle and skeletal system it will will adapt with proper recovery regime. That's why I sometimes repeat here to keep your easy run days easy, end it with enough fuel storage, no shag out. Only reserve the shag out run where you might need to push thru fatigue for the one run called LSD. But LSD can don't do if you are not training for FM or HM.

That's why for me I tried to keep my stride short and try running more steps so to reduce the great impact on my knee.

This is not FeiYing PB4.0. It is the trainer version, that's why don't have PB in the model number.
But still it's a good price for a trainer. But personally i would only buy from flagship store which I posted the link. For peace of mind, coz there are fake Qiaodan.

My lesson learned, do the strength and mobility stuff. Often it's not impact but weak core and muscles that's created added load on the knees.

Try to land on your mid foot n not the heel.

Young still can have very big stride and high impact but I am nearing 60 liao so I just take it easy.

No. If your body is not slowly progressively trained to the continuous hours of running, no gel will help.

You know these are high GI calories dense food. Insulin will spike, but no concern for seasoned runners who are metabolic flexible.

You can try, but it's just my opinion it won't help much.

Are you using for race? For training, I rather don't use, coz that will train your metabolic flexibility to adapt to different fuel source within your body, especially for the long run part, where fat to energy conversation efficiency is important.
