Coz the easy days are part of triggering muscle and skeletal adaptation, these organs need to experience the loading in order to adapt. Putting on the support would take away the loading that trigger the adaptation.That's why I was asking is it better to wear knee support especially for active senior citizens.

As long as your trainings doesn't overload your muscle and skeletal system it will will adapt with proper recovery regime. That's why I sometimes repeat here to keep your easy run days easy, end it with enough fuel storage, no shag out. Only reserve the shag out run where you might need to push thru fatigue for the one run called LSD. But LSD can don't do if you are not training for FM or HM.
In my 15 years of running, and crossing 3500km/year for the past 5 years, I never once worn knee support. I attributes it to my easy days, which I do it almost daily.That's why for me I tried to keep my stride short and try running more steps so to reduce the great impact on my knee.
