Just curious, if I ask a student to accompany me to make purchase at Apple store, do they check/ask if we are related before giving educational pricing?

Secondly if I wait for the back to school promotion, will a refurbished MacBook qualify for purchase?

I don’t know. I posted 2 years ago and the process may have changed. Are you purchasing something physically from the Apple Store with Educational Discount? Perhaps you can share your experience with us.

U can also order online via unidays verification (correct me if I’m wrong as I based on normal purchasing experience) and collect your item from Apple Store - Don think the staff will verify again…

Back to School promo usually runs from mid Jun to end Sep every year. In 2024, the promo was AirPods 3 until early September when Apple intro AirPods 4 along with iPhone 16. Once introduced, the Back to School promo changes to include AirPods 4 and not 3. I score a free AirPods 4 ANC this way.
