Bro cya next Sat ya...
Just hope the hot spell we are experience these couple of days will be over by next week.. Just wrote in to the organizers to see if they can mitigate the heat injuries risk, like cold water splash, or mist spraying arch.

Ya, take care of your 30km walk under heat. Don't push thru heat exhaustion. Unlike pushing thru ,muscle fatigue, you can still stimulate some muscle skeletal adaptation. Pushing thru heat fatigue , trains nothing on your muscle and skeletal systems and put you under risk of severe heat injuries that can be permanent or fatal. We are not training for endurance at the Sahara desert, so don't need that level of extreme climate adaptation.

Even some T100 triathletes gave up in Miami and Singapore. There is no shame in DNF under extreme heat index.

New Park Run location. Suitable for the EDMW runners whose regular route is at Marina bay, Garden by the bay or even Stadium runners. They just did the recce run couple of weeks ago.

But the route quite boring. To and Fro for two times. Essentially running the same straight PCN 4 times.

This route is so nice, I am attracted to it already. Might give it a shot before the Garmin Run as a checkpoint for 5k fitness.

That area is bloody cluster F on Sat and Sun mornings. Even i avoid that area during that timing. Even GBTB area my kid and i ride really really carefully for the exposed (sun ray) areas coz it is rather dangerous.
The covered up areas still ok, but still need to snake around sometimes.

That time i mentioned got 1 rather nasty accident right, witnessed by my kid and I....just happend 2-3 seconds after we passed by and we heard the loud bang and screams It was over there at around 8am.
I believe a significant factor also due to sun rays' effect, coz for 1 direction would be fully shining right into the eyes, ie towards South East direction, esp for some months of the year whereby the sun would be swee swee lined up.

Wear shades does not mean safe. Coz the other pax not wearing.

Can trust me 100%, i have been rounding that place well over 1000 times liao for so many hours, for running and cycling various timings.....not joking. That timing is rather "jinxed".

Anyway, talking about jinxed, it's school holidays, do take care on the PCNs.
Close shaves just now and last night.

Some joker last night shone those aspherpical lights (really high lux high intensity one....not normal reflectored flashlights) in strobe mode into my sides, was nearly blinded by luckily was at my sides, i nearly wanted to wallop that fella on roller skates. End up didnt do so coz char boh. She also shone (strobe pattern) at tourists right in front on Fullerton Bay Hotel. Really siao lang.

I gun, stupid kids wanna follow, but then most of them are skilless and just reckless. No lights and no helmets.
Siao langs.
Vast majority of the time i do not let strangers draft me, not even follow me. It's just too dangerous due to too many variables.
