If you have SC credit card, 15% off. Still an expensive race.

Despite it's high cost, it's still the one race I will sign up every year til I meet my goal. I have to give up on other races like the Garmin, 2XU..etc.
The Hanoi SC costs me $116 after conversion. It's mindbogglingly expensive for us, imagine how mega ex it is for Vietnamese. But I guess you pay for the assurance of a well-run race.

I always thought the less developed country races are cheaper even for their 'premium' race. This is just as much as our SCSM. Enjoy your run there, hope the weather is good.

I hope my run this Sunday has good weather.

Yesterday night was cooling and I tried running my planned marathon pace, pretty much in zone 1 all the way. If weather in Phuket is similar during that time, should be enjoyable.

Longer runs I get abrasion if underwear haha
I am wearing the Nanjiren bamboo underwear. So maybe that helps as well.

For running, normal $7 taobao polyester running shorts (but smooth smooth type) and this Nanjiren bamboo underwear 15 to 18.8 km no issue. As long as it fits and no extra movement, 10k and 21.1 shd be ok.

I suspect that these "spandex" type of semi compression shorts would press down on it even further and eliminate any extra movements.
Only ultra endurance distances for cycling and running need to go full purist route.

For girls, this is confirm 100% normal. :s21:

For guys, NO! I think not. At least not for us amateurs.
Pls cover up! (y)
That's why got pants over tights type to hide the bulge.

I also have two pairs from Decathlon. I only used them during the short period I had pain in my quads. The compression does mitigate the pain during the run, so I can still meet my mileage. Once it was healed, I went back to normal loose pants.

as in I wear the 2-in-1 shorts with tights or pure tights then with shorts over. Also experimented with running belt over pants pockets. Next would be to experiment with the running vest

Pay a running mate to carry your stuff during the race. i.e. your personal logistic support crew.
