do you need to take a photo of the tag after sticking?
Yes, I supposed to take a picture of the RFID tag with the car number and upload to the TCsens site to complete the acknowledgement.
The video provided tell me to install on the left front lamp only. I saw in other posts can stick on the left top windscreen which I prefer. In the end I have not done so till I confirmed this.....):

Use a temporary tape to stick the VEP RFID tag on to the headlights, take picture, submit for approval...then relocate the tag to the windscreen?

Oh so sticking on the left headlight is just temporary. I also though it is more safe and lasting to place the RFID tag in side the car.....:)

Really don't feel like pasting this on my headlight. Anyone pasted on windscreen and submitted the photo and got approval?

Stick in headlamp is really cock

Rain, dirt, car wash, stone chips daily, maybe young punks itchy hand. Can it really last?
Then maybe later LTA fail your inspection because you are obstructing the headlamp

Yup worse case is the sticker is in front of the light and it casts a shadow when your headlight is turned on...

Maybe I should write to Straits Times forum asking why placing of stickers on headlamps (even the sides) is illegal while VEP is allowed to paste directly infront of the headlamp

Looks like last time, when you go down to their Fitment Centre, they paste the VEP RFID on the windscreen.
https://www.torque.com.sg/advice/vep-how-register-and-rfid-tag-installed/

Maybe you need to go down to their Fitment Centre then they paste inside the windscreen becos they can test if the signal is ok. If they post to you then you have to paste on the headlamp.
This was precovid and the tag is different already. Now their instruction is paste on headlight, same for msian cars. But I see a lot of msian cars also paste on windscreen.

Msia Cars using TnG RFID don't need to send photo for verification so they can paste anywhere.

try pasting elsewhere and submit
But it is quite risky as the Tag can be pasted one-off.
1. Even I do a temporary paste on windscreen and submit, It might be rejected and then kena asked to reapply again.
2. Someone told me to do a temporary paste on the left headlamp and submit. If approved, then change to paste the RFID on windscreen?? Anyone does that?
