Bro, thanks for your reply.
I scare knee cap broken or give way.

Thks for the confirmation.
Cos I am gonna train for vertical challenge n I wanted to know ok to sign up or not.

I am not young anymore.
Lau kork kork.
pei fu. i nv do vertical challenge before. to me climbing stairs sounds like crazy people do. but then when i do, i seem to enjoy poking at people's corridor, see what they plant, see who smoke, see what furniture they display outside, see the cctv brand they use :o
when i look at dawson, my ball shrink, dont dare to climb. i only do some point blocks climbing, take lift go down. and do afew times once awhile only.

trick is to keep changing block so u dont see the same thing all over again :o

anybody using supernova stride? or invincible 3?
i have the invincible 3. its very cushiony and comfortable for long runs. however, i prefer the novablast 3 cushion and bounce more. i also had to do a runner knot to prevent heel slippage on the invincible 3. there is also a small hole on the upper where my mid foot is due to repeated bending after about 250km.

on a side note, i just tried the superblast on my 16km run. it feels much firmer, responsive and lighter compared to the nb3. my legs didn't really feel that tired after the run. i had to stop near the 15km mark because of the afternoon heat actually. my legs felt fresh the next day too.

Be cautious when doing hard runs.

I do a breakout threshold run where I fix my 5k pace once a week, intervals 2 days before that. And 15km+ LSD, will work my way to 16km.

The other runs are recovery/steady state. Usually <15% hard run with 1 day crosstraining rest where I don't run.
thank you for the reminder. I guess i am in no conditions to do any hard runs at the moment. Will slowly build it up.

I was wondering how this Saudi prince user knew the gender from their running pace 🤨
Izzit cuz a 6 min/km range pace is atypical for a female? Not necessarily 🤔

Good video on why Japan produces a lot of fast runners.

1. Huge pipeline of runners starting back at high school (many 3 min pace runners, 500+ sub-15 min runners by end of high school each year). Burnout isn't an issue there. Wake up early and run more mileage. Forego happiness in pursuit of doing well in running.
2. Ekiden > nationally broadcast run, a lot of japanese runners are inspired to do well in the event so they train hard for it early on.
3. Collective culture > Multiple running teams that are sponsored by corporations, give athletes salaries and what they need to focus on running. Primary focus is on ekiden/marathon.
The video did a good analysis, agree with his view. It's the culture for running plus the mental resilience when they commit.
Have you watched 'Run with the wind' anime? Story is built around the Hakone Ekiden. Even the lousiest runner in the team did a17 min for 5km , and he depicted as someone without talent or interest but got recruited for other reason that is not related to running. LOL

Last time I watched it on Netflix during the pandemic. Don't know if it's still streaming on Netflix, coz I had stopped Netflix subscription.

I bought running vest online, much cheaper than buy at Decathlon.
Eagerly waiting for the arrival.
