But i have moved the funds out from SCB
Looks like you were on the invited promo then?

looks like CIMB is the better option for now
Probably, since you have an existing account and you are just holding for 1 month to refresh status on SCB side.
f SCB is better than CIMB in Aug, then it makes sense to move all 250K to SCB right?
Even if, touch wood, the august promo is 0.1-0.3% lesser, i would still dump 250K into SCB.

The reason is right now for you, only the 100K can receive the bonus interest. Might as well make full use of the reset and get full interest on that 250K through SCB once the new promo is out

I thought in the future can just pump 5k to reactivate the main big sum
Haha, you wait long long.

All these promos typically require you to bring in new funds.
like this need to move out and reset
Ya, got to play this reset game and move house to another bank that has similar promo unless you just intend to just park your money into the likes of multiplier / 360 / One account / BonusSaver and etc...

Oh

Seems like gotta apply for CIMB malaysia account too. And there after use the cimb malaysia atm card to withdraw?

If you got CIMB SG already go Msia CIMB branch can open need just provide passport NRIC and payslip. If do in CIMB SG think wait until cow come home.
Anyone got experience opening Msia CIMB account in Malaysia?? How fast does it take to open?

It is ironic Msian the other way round have it much easier from the other forums I read. Well I guess CIMB is Msia bank giving privilege to own citizen is normal. We move on so many foreign banks in Spore.

Simple rule in my opinion. You go other ppl territory open bank account you abide by their rules. Not happy don't open they don't owe you any explanations why or maybe their Msia equivalent to our MAS impose some rules on them etc who knows.

Ah right, i missed your first statement about CIMB ending next month. Sorry.

Maybe you can wait for new promos from HSBC EGA or MayBank iSavvy then.
Or simply park in Maribank to wait out before deploying your funds

Yes, you get base interest which is 1.5%

Yes, you get the BI on ($X - $May Month End) for each day that are above the requirement.

Yes, since fastsaver can be left at 0 SGD

Yes, CIMB explicitly say they does this
"will be accrued daily"

Yes, for this June July Aug Promo that you are in.

In CIMB case, they offer a consolidated view of their offerings in a image form. Just refer to that if you are unsure of the requirements
