How long does it normally take for them to mail you the SIM card? I signed up last week, and this week's almost over and I have yet to receive my SIM card. Looks like I'll have to pay Vivifi next month's sub cos Eight posts pretty slowly. :(

Two weeks also not enough time ah? Singpost will normally send to mailbox by next working day once mail is picked up.

same as well still waiting for my parents sim card to arrive.

3-5 working days. For me 3 working days. Then better head down to service centre to collect before month end

If network disruption, users basically can just suck thumb. No number to call.

Don't expect instant reply to email as they can take about 2 days. Remember now last week for $0 already with so many people going last minute. Best is still physically at service centres IMO.

I've sent 3 emails to terminate my $0 line as the Aljunied shop lied to me that i can port subsequently after 88 days which is not true - 17 Jul, 19 Jul, 24 Jul with screenshot of sim card.

Until now, no response.

I see. I also suffered port in failed since Monday. Emailed them, till now no reply, send chaser email last night till now no reply. Very irritating, no where to contact support. Till now no signs of port, my friend all ported successfully.

just head down to the ubi service center

For termination, you need write to them the following info.

  • You can write in to helpme@eight.com.sgwith the below details as part of user verification. Do note that this action will be irreversible.
    • Name as per NRIC:
    • Last 4 digits of NRIC:
    • Your eight number:
    • Your date of birth:
    • Photo of the back of your SIM card/Screenshot of your “myAccount” login

I check through the list of retailers but can’t find any shop in Aljunied.

Which shop in Aljunied are you referring to?

I signed up for the $0 plan through online on Friday 19 July 2024 and opted for mail delivery.
Today, Thursday 25 July 2024, I received the SIM card in my mailbox.
I then activated the SIM card as per given instructions and now is up and running.
If it works well, then I may want to upgrade to the $8 plan.

Hi. After scan the esim QRcode for past 1 hour unable connect to network on Eight sim. Is it normal ?
In the past on other Telco the line all immediate working after activated.

If after tonight tonight still no network then got to deal with their CS. Heard customer service like not exist.

Those who want to terminate, make sure you've all info in your email to avoid any delay like them having to ask you for them.

Thanks. I managed to e-flip table via email. the portin@eight email just don't respond to me even after 4-days. Instead, i then wrote in to helpme@eight, got reply immediately and resolved it. Hopefully, port in happens tonight.
