So far those port over from Simba to Eight telco $8 plan. Do you face any issues of lag of porting over be it by Simba or Eight not processing? I am thinking to port over my simba work number to eight, but I scare will have few days stuck..
31 July done @ 201B tampines outlet take $8 plan port over from simba to Eight

31 July 11pm received Email from simba say my line termination

1 Aug 12am my simba no signal as my line termination

1 Aug 8am i try to insert Eight sim card given temporary number. my old number termination already

1 Aug i try to call my old number simba is already termination. i Email helpme@eight.com.sg but never reply

4 Aug till today still the same Eight temporary number. again i Email helpme@eight.com.sg but never reply

just wondering if anyone feel like cancelling their fibre boardband after signing up eight? I just checked for the last 30 days, i am only using 100GB for my home laptop.

mobile speed cannot compare broadband

e.g. I am only getting 30+ mbps on Eight but with the right equipment, I am getting 500+mbps via wifi on a 1 Gbps subscription

decided to port my main number from GOMO to eight.
$0 plan terminated at Ubi "Service Centre" today.
less than 10 minutes, line is terminated.
signed up online and chose eSIM.
Will update y'all.
I am seeing you guys getting port out at 11pm.
As of now, GOMO signal still going very strong.
I guess I have to visit ubi tomorrow.

EDIT: Dropped them an email, and they replied within 16 minutes, saying it is in progress.

Is the $0 plan extended until when? I thought until Jul 31 only coz the $0 plan still showing in website.

Hello. I signed up for eight on 4 Aug around 1am. Requested eSIM. Will be porting over from Giga.

Anyone knows how many working days eight will take send email with the QR code to activate eSIM?

Sorry for the low post count. I haven’t used HWZ Forums for more than 10 years liao. So can’t even remember my old account anymore

1029hrs - Port-in not yet happened. Emailed to them.
I think this could be due to GOMO pSIM to Eight eSIM?

If there is a signal issue, do u guys think I should approach eight or starhub directly since eight is oso under starhub

Yes, I show eight but most likely they can't do anything since it is not using their own network but rather Starhub
Don't think they'd want to do anything either, after all it's their MVNO though subsidiary, doesn't make $ sense to liaise directly with eight users.
