Up to October. August and September being peak.

https://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2117.html

Typhoon can occur beyond October but not often...

I remember got one year mid Nov I go tokyo... got 1 typhoon (or maybe is downgraded to tropical storm) passed close to Tokyo bringing heavy rain just 1 day before we arrived... The good thing is that for the next few days is damn good weather... really is 雨过天晴...

I going in on 28/9, will it get better?

July to Sept is peak typhoon period... and no one can predict when will have one until about 1 week before...

You already booked... worry also no use... unless u are able to change date...

Go holiday dun worry too much... just have some backup plans in case got heavy rains or rail disruption...

But typhoon if really is mega, flights willl cancel rite

Ya flights get cancelled

We were in Taipei during a typhoon.
Stayed in hotel room the whole evening and next day typhoon was over.

But flight back to sg was a mess the next day.
Flight took off 3 hrs late but many other flights got cancelled.

However before a big typhoon hits, have several days of advance warning.

Okok. What kind of back up plans can I have? I think I can only just stay in my hotel right haha

If suay suay typhoon hits directly… yah probably cannot go anywhere except stay in room… likely most shops or attractions not open also… but u calculate the probability of a strong typhoon hitting directly where u go on the exact date u there… is the chance high? If really got typhoon most likely is just pass by nia got heavy rain and wind…

If it is just heavy rain and wind… still can plan for indoor activities or shopping…
