Activated SIM on 28/08 morning;
Vivifi connection disconnected on 28/08 late evening around 11pm;
Eight sent SMS informing successful port-in on 29/08 12.30am

how is the network performance for Eight compared to Simba and Maxx?
my simba network is quite bad especially when in mrt (purple-line) surfing net, facebook etc and some places (open area) no network at all for making calls.

I've not tried purple line. but red and yellow line ok

Depends on location
-in office, very good connection at bay area.
-at home, very spotty. need to stand st the door to get some connection.

normally for any telco, as long as you make the cut for the day, usually before 4pm (play safe). If i want to port into the telco, normally i will raise a request in the morning or noon. From my experience in porting, normally i will make it on the day if i apply early.

But that is if you use eSIM or collect SIM card physically, it doesn't apply to SIM card delivered to you
