Yup. It will be later than India global rom nia. We shld be using US global rom. Not sure abt this
India always 1st, then normally NA then EU and global. EU and global share device code CPH2581 but is different from, ours are mostly/all flashed to global, not NA or EU

I noticed something too that the phone would randomly get locked and has to wait 30secs and use pin to unlock. This seems to happen when always using pin to unlock phone. So far OK when using biometric.

if you buy export set, they open a new china set and flash global rom and re-package it to be sold as BNIB. If that's what u mean then no but i assume ppl who is buying it knew about it and willingly took that risk also when they are paying for it. But if u buy from official local oneplus shop i would assume BNIB mean BNIB.

But for the battery is a completely different story, where do you think these ah beng mobile shop get their battery from? OnePlus OEM factory? If you think of it, why would OnePlus even sell battery when they decided to build made all their phone with in-built battery? And when they change the battery for you, did they tell u honestly this battery is reused or tell u it's brand new? I'm pretty alot consumers and boomers wont know, they thought they are changing to a brand new battery with better longevity than their current one. But in reality it could be worst.
How's your experience transiting from op 7 pro to pixel 9 pro xl?

tbh pixel is for android purist who dun want and am willing to accept missing all the quality of life changes that "custom" skins from brands bring, i.e user have to adapt to their style more than users being given some brand customisations, be it useful anot. Its kinda like the iphone of android.

I was looking at the OnePlus 12 and 12r over the past few days, and the price seems to be quite high. Do you reckon that price will drop for 99?

Also for the china OP12 and 12R with global roms , can the singpass work? And after that, can the system OS still be updated? Cos I asked cocoatech on shopee for the OnePlus 12R (ace 3) , and the CS there said local apps can use (not sure if true) but system cannot be upgraded
