My IDD calling (all options, use 008, 018, + etc got KO suddenly. First month was ok. Then when the monthly billing happen for second month, IDD gone. Inside app can see that 200m free IDD is left. But when I dial, it immediately says "call ended".

I tried app support they take super long to respond + not resolve yet. Went to NEX they say cannot do anything about Star plan, only app support. The guy was quite rude as if swatting away a fly. Also cannot port to another non-star plan. When I said does that mean switch to another provider he says Yes!

Well, after close to 2 months ported out from shitty Starplan. Last friday i just did a port in back to starhub for the sim only plan, not the starplan at outlet. Guess what, until today my line still not ported into starhub yet and CL is still holding my number. Call and whack Starhub last saturday and recieve a message that re port in will be done today 9.9 but until now, not even a msg from starhub. Jialat la this SH. I go over their fb, im super surprise that. Almost all comment were complains about the service and followup. I had w SH for more than 10 years and i had to agree, now is really different from last time, the service had drop badly.

I seriously regretted parting into Star Plan. I wish I have read this before I commit to them.

Does it take a lot of steps to do this, did you lose a small amount of money in the process

Yup, for starplan it ported out when i were about close to before the renewal of next month plan. Den for CL, i did the port 10 days before the plan renew to avoid all the deduction. But just take note CL, have this internal security options that needed to be disable which by right the CL staff should know about it.
Basically during the port back to starhub i had a heart attack, as suppose on the 6 sept were suppose to be the porting but there were no movement and update. 7 sept 3.30am, notice my line were cancelled on CL while my hub line were showing the temporary numbers until 11am then finally my temp numbers got replaced to my main line numbers.
Now im glad that, everything is over.

How is your experience with circle life so far. Okay I will inform them about the internal security options. Is circle life worth it or not.

Personal opinion, i had used zym, heya, simba, eight.
tbh, CL the line from M1 is not very good. The connection can jam when even the reception is full. There are also changes in voice change during normal phone call, like sound alittle robot on CL. But for two months there, i think its fine. But that two months, sometimes just making you very angry that wanna quickly change. But on a good note, CL have this coin in app that you can redeem vouchers for gaming and online shopping.

When you were porting out to CL, did you need to choose port from prepaid ?

May I ask why did you port back into SH SIM-only plan then? Is the connection there really good? If not, which has the most stable connections amongst those you've tried?

Also would want to express my gratitude to this thread. Was seconds away from applying to star plan because got NTUC union member discount (free caller-id) and they were promoting it everywhere. Was on the check-out page when I hesitated and researched a bit due to my bad experiences with other TELCOs with discounts that were too good. Tried SIMBA, VIVIFY, Eight and M1 MAXX. Eight was really good at first because I was the first few to sign up but got congested as it's popularity increased, and SIMBA is the next best but not enough for my usage in mobile gaming.

I were contract sh customer for many years and eventually my whole family line all under mine. So when my ctrct end, i wanted sims only thats why i went back because i dont like to pay bills with many different brand and or even dates. And mainly also my area with sh, is good. Imo, i would go with this:
1) starhub/eight/giga
2) zym
3) simba

i will never touch m1 line ever again

that's fair. After reading many threads for a few hours I've decided to opt for Gomo (which is supposedly very similar to giga, but with better customer support). Tried eight before but the connection speeds aren't good enough for my daily usage and considered zym also but many complaints about it having no connection at all at certain times

and I agree, the apparent SG consensus is m1 is dogshit

Nice! Glad that you have decided. I know sometimes its quite a effort. But just a side note, if you are porting out from Starplans, do make sure that gomo accept prepaid to postpaid yah. Previously i also found this thread that CL is the only one during that time. Good luck yah!

If youre talking about starhub pre to post this i not sure. But if youre talking about from hub to other line or vice versa best to stay 2 months minimal and ensure there is no contract line.

Ported out to SIMBA alr. Saved me the trouble of "prepaid".

Now to figure out how to get back on the legacy sim-only plan. (Probably CIS liao)
