How to test wifi 6?

You got any true wifi 6 routers that your using currently ?

those using Honor before may know under the software update page, top right got additional feature which is the "Tryout Version" so as to force update if available but not yet push down to u.

The case fitting is good..many sellers in Taobao.I ordered glass protector from another YB seller waiting for delivery coz supposedly the glass fit swee swee with this carbon front case.

The V3 is quite solid..using it for about a week so far no issues and smooth.

Fold 6 lose out liao coz even the UI (Magic os) i find not bad.

Only issue i have is my HK set not AI features yet..need to wait for OTA... if buy in HK with a hk Sim i think can update immediately. so now i just need to wait a bit for the AI features.

you may want to try the "tryout version".

The current glass from the seller is smaller right ? Mean the curve side cannot cover finish ?

Good info, will test when my phone and router comes. As sometimes their specs is copied from China release and wifi 6 could be available for global.

also take note on the 365 days screen warranty..

Honor Singapore clarified that its 365-day Front and Back replacement service covers the Magic V3’s displays/screens. It covers both the outer secondary display and its main inner display. It does not cover physical damage to the rest of the device (i.e. backplate, hinge), and the damage assessment is at the discretion of Honor’s appointed service centre.

But, i think its not true.
It supports wifi up to wifi 7. Hence, 6 is supported.
Does not make sense to say 6 is not but 7 is.
Even snapdragon 8 gen 2 already supported wifi 7 and 6 and 6e.
v3 has a 8G3 chip.

i think they trying to say wifi 7 is supported but only 2.4ghz and 5ghz band.

no wifi 6e as the phone cannot support 6ghz band.

doesnt means support wifi 7 means will support wifi 6e.

How to test wifi 6?

your wifi icon on the top of your screen will show wifi icon with a 6 next to it as well.
If it doesn't, its wifi 5.

The carbon fiber case is traditional type. Comes with double side tape. Coz it's very thin.

I did try clicking on tryout version of the os update. Nothing yet. Hehe
