Let's talk about the iPhone 16 Camera Control Button Cover

Do you need a case that has camera control button coverage?

  • Yes, die die must have!

  • Yes, but only if the case is good quality and at reasonable price.

  • No, it does not matter as long as I like the case.

  • No, I belong to Naked iPhone Gang!

I use it. And I love the additional pro controls. Coming from a DSLR user.

The only annoying thing is the current case. The cutout makes the button not responding well. Like hard to reach the actual camera controls.
I like the additional controls too. Luckily the controls can be used on screen without the stupid button which is positioned too far away for the Pro Max model.

Only the 16 series have these fine tuning abilities

It’s probably more like a change in direction and vision for Apple 🍎 post Steve Jobs era.

Downhill is perhaps harsh on them as they remain very influential in the smartphone industry. Like when they started removing the charging brick, most of their rivals followed suit.

for the camera functions, this button is quite useless, much faster to adjust exposure via the screen. the aperture setting is not really needed cos you can adjust it afterwards anyway, same goes for tone etc.

maybe it's useful for the apple intelligence, let's see...

Spigen ultra hybrid user & I don’t find it difficult to use the camera button with case on. Only thing is my left pinkie sometimes presses it when not careful but that’s easily resolved by changing the sensitivity of the button.

Actually why is it that Spigen has the technology to make the camera control cover but they don’t incorporate it in 9/10 of their cases? 🤔🤔

In fact, it’s only the Ultra Hybrid T isn’t it?

So far two weeks of using ippm 16, first week ugreen bordered TG and apple silicon case vs 2nd week using spigen hybrid T and Belkin ultra glass 2 TG…. Have mixed feeling… TG Belkin wins but casing wise i like apple silicon case for its soft touch but spigen design looks much better though its has a ‘hard’ feeling. Camera control both seems the same to me actually - which is responsive.
