Oh yeah. Quick update. I swapped my privacy one out for the matte one and the unresponsive touch is completely gone. On iOS 18.0.1
Which privacy glass are you using? I'm using Zeelot one. So far no issue with touchscreen sensitivity

For non-black borders sp, all these 3 types are good options depending on your willingness to spend

Ugreen Screen Protector Glass
Spigen Glastr EZ Fit
Belkin Ultraglass 2
I would like to add to this list:
ESR Armorite glass screen protector has no black borders. I'm using it now. It comes in a pack of 3 with the fuss-free installation tray. No problems with touch sensitivity.

This thing is $60 a piece
Goes to show how many rich people don’t look at the price tag when they get a new iPhone. 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️

They just walk into Apple Store and get a new phone and when the staff ask if they need accessories?

They’ll be like sure! And proceed to grab the silicon or clear case and screen protector etc. 😆😆

iPhone buyers tend to be OK with the pricing of such accessories. Also, iPhone users also more open to buying apps.

I'm quite happy with the Spigen hybrid T casing even though it's thicker than the ugreen one.

Agree. Somehow or rather this year Ugreen products has been disappointing for me. From their TG to the case, prob they were rushing to launch it before IP 16 was released. Luckily I was able to do a refund via Lazada.

I own several Ugreen products mainly chargers and cables but never had their cases or sp as I don't feel that's their specialty.

I think for Chinese Brands, SmartDevil, Benks or ESR all have pretty good and solid cases/sp
