In Summary guys.

LKY is very easily exploited
Once opponents figure they're in sai kang, pull out any form of timeout to stop the momentum

Notice how after the red card LKY no longer cheer, shout and scream and played simple rallies to stay in it?

This is why he didn't win. He got exploited.

No top players dare to ask ah boy to be 陪练now, because end up ownself become 陪练。that is how much potential he has and he has wasted two years.

You mean that they suppose to help each other as sparring partners but actually they making lky stronger?

Seems like it. This guy play a lot instinctively. Maybe just pit him against many top players for hours as training will be the best way to squeeze out all his potential. Everyone agreed he is very very fast, which is what his opponents are most scared of him. So now opponents know how to use delay tactics against him and play strategies to slow down the pace or break his rhythm.

Lky, after his win in WC, had tried various different combinations - attempted to add deception etc. to no avail. The biggest issue had been the umpteen pushes into the net, and lifts out the back line or too short, these 2 that contributed to his reputation with many unforced errors. Commented before that the entire team SG can’t do a good lift at the net, including the coach, lky has visibly improved on this, something momota regarded as more crucial in badminton than smashes. The turning point, at least in terms of timeline, was about the time he trained with kunlavut before Paris, where his clears, n lifts n defence got better. So, he really really needed to have good sparring partners of different styles n a good coach. Now, with better racket techniques n shot quality, he is only lacking of good strings of shots in terms of shot selection, n maybe maybe an even faster reaction. I do believe in how the Chinese badminton fans regarded him as 脖子以下超一流 now. His footwork had always been superb(something LZJ /Lee chiuk yiu lack) great smashes that players like AA, Kodak, n kunlavut lack, now he needs better strategies to win, so a good coach was what he needed desperately, but would it be too little too late? Or would they even be able to find a better fit than Kelvin Ho, who was indeed improving as a coach as well, learning on the job
