Looking at 1 monitor setup 4k is a plus
i would look at 7800x3d + b650
but of coz i could be wrong
i think 7800xt should be ok to run at 4k for this games...

im not so sure either of these are good value for money, before considering theyre from aftershock. the 7800xt should run popular sims like forza and assetto very well, even at 4k since theyre fairly easy to run, while delivering at least 80% of the performance of the 4070tiS in general. the 7700 also doesnt provide that much of an uplift over 6-core zen4 parts like the 7500f/7600/7600x, its only when ur using a 78x3d where u can see massive gains in assetta at 1080p for eg. personally, id settle for a 7600 + 7800xt for 1.3k or a 78x3d + 7800xt for 1.7k (cheaper than the linked as 7700 + 78xt), both from invaderpc, and a cheap ram upgrade would be enough, though i would lean towards the former as the 78x3d is quite overpriced now and the next gen of x3d cpus is arriving next week. cpu performance is also less of a concern at higher resolutions like 4k, so the 7600 shouldnt be too far behind the 78x3d at this resolution while saving a huge chunk of change.
will it be a good idea to wait for black friday to get a PC?
if u can wait, sure.

Is it worth getting Nvidia instead? Like the 4070tiS instead.

imo no, since the 78xt is already enough to play racing sims at native 4k with decently high framerates, so depending on ur monitor u may not be able to notice those extra frames with a faster gpu, and u dont need upscaling either. raytracing is also barely noticeable in racing sims, so no point going nvidia. as mentioned previously, the 4070tiS is about 20-25% faster than the 7800xt, so comparing the 1.3k 7600 + 7800xt invader build to the aftershock build with the 4070tiS which costs 2.1k (60%(!) more), the 7800xt build is far and away the performance per dollar champ.

Is the MSI B650M Gaming Plus Wifi @ $200 a good pairing for a R5 7500f build?
I am open to suggestions for something of a better value

Haven't been following the scene so unsure of board prices now
