If base on my treadmill speed then it's 45 mins at 6Km per hour so I had ran about 4.5Km.

I asked a few people and they told me no need to calibrate cause the treadmill is not accurate so base on your watch.
If base on watch in a indoor gym, it uses a assumed stride length to calculate distance, which itself is very inaccurate if there isn't a calibrated foot pod.

Tried some new stuff, tricep extensions, wow these are hard! Could only do 2.
Then did full 1 and followed up with knees support type (drop set)

Been only doing 60-70cm height decline diamond push ups partial reps + full ROM.

See if got improvements. Need new stimulus.

BTW these would benefit cycling, but running also probably got a bit of benefit.

Unless I can manually set my stride length base on my outdoor running 🤔

Got try applying very thick layer of vaseline on the blister spots? Sometimes feet can get 'seasoned' into problematic shoes by growing callous on the affected area.

I use Aonijie Coolmax E4802 or and ankle low cut E4801. 99 RMB for 3 pairs before shipping. Been using them for many years. The only time I had blister which was from a problematic shoes, a Reebok one.

The exact colors for the E4802 and E4801.

That time you recommended and I bought but don’t really like the toe socks. Feels very weird. Maybe just need to get used to it

Finished my FM at 8 AM SG time this morning. Quick review of the marathon.

Course: 7/10. Reasonably flat with a few up and down on their expressway similar to SCSM. Road not always in best condition so had to be alert. Majority of the race took place in narrower streets with older looking buildings. Some pretty sights but overall pretty much urban running. At least no boring long ECP run like SCSM. Towards the end the morning Hanoi commute had started so it was not always possible to keep running because need to alternate between letting the runners pass and the traffic.

Atmosphere: 7/10. Pretty basic race, most of the cheerers were stationed towards the last few kms of the marathon. The rest of the race could see the daily lives of Hanoi residents like the elderlies exercising in the park. The experience of running while navigating morning Hanoi commute was certainly something. The motorists did not give a hoot to the runners and traffic police so needed to be quite daring towards the later part of the race in downtown Hanoi.

Water Stations: 9/10. Well organised with decent spacing. Each station always have sufficient ice cold plain water, isotonic drink, and either banana or watermelon. Some also had cold water to douse though I did not see the need for it. No complain.

Vietbu: 8/10. Hanoi’s runner girls were definitely prettier than the ones in HCM. Figures also very good. Out of all marathons I had run so far the one with the most chio bus is still SCSM.

Medal and Finisher tee: 6/10. Medal looked nicer than the pic in social media. Finisher tee was disappointing, design was very basic. The event tee was nicer looking.

Looks like a good race. Can consider for future overseas race.

Actually can try the Taobao aero cycling socks. I run in them for the brick sessions....... however i only tried them for 10k total in 2 legs, definitely no HM and much less FM.

For cycling i use flat cycling shoes and i am not sure how that vs running, but then i have been in them for 6-7hrs straight no issue. And my cycling shoes ultra low end TB type. :ROFLMAO:

They are just a bit semi compressive. Not sure if you cut them liao how it holds up, or maybe cut and ask you wife/mother to sew.

The top part (aero trip strips) is confirm the typical 12-20 elastine and 80-88% polyester material, very fine microfibre type. The below not too sure but confirm it dries damn fast, much faster than other socks.
edit - compare with my decathlon running socks that i used to use, dries faster than that.

Thickness i feel is ok, not too thick and not too thin.

Did you run with any incline % during treadmill runs? I realized that the treadmill at my usual gym has lower distance (~9.3km) when I ran 10km distance at my clock with ~1% incline, but the distance is near 10km when I set incline to ~3%. Might be related to stride length but I'm no expert on this, or the treadmill I'm running has uncalibrated belt lol.

I usually run with 2%, to get an accurate representation of normal run route. But I guess 3% might also be good.

I am still looking for my ideal socks. One that doesn't soak up too much sweat and becomes heavy, but not too thin till I can feel my skin rubbing the synthetic upper material. Maybe can try this for the 11.11 sales for the fast dry feature. Got ankle height version?

Unfortunately don't have. It's basically spandex material for the calf part, below feet part is prob got nylon. Rather smooth knitting. Medium thickness.

Some others for reference.

Let me release my anger here

I had my best run so far in my life. Thought it would be great day..

Alas.. got one ahbeng rode those e-bike with headlight brighter than car speeding in PCN (Pang Sua). Full of adrenaline. I shouted at him and f*ck him. He passed and realized he turned back (because of his bright headlight). I was in figthing mode and walked back to him started to call him to come and he just laughed and turned back away. Called him coward but he didnt come back

F*ck man.. my heart rate shooted up to 180. I dont understand youngster these days. PCN sometimes got elderly got kids. Still riding so fast

What would you if you were me?
Is it worth to report to police so that they can increase Patrol in the area? I was running around 8-9pm btw

Btw this is not the first time. Last week also got youngster riding mtb coming out fast from stairs from kranji area to PCN at high speed. F*ck him up and he just cycled away
