A small SOC improvement (slightly higher clocks), better ultra wide camera with macro mode, no 3.5mm stereo port, slightly better screen with a 120hz fresh rate (240hz with black frames) .
They didn't mention if the built-in storage is UFS2.1, 3.0 or 3.1.
It is unlikely to be UFS 4.0 at this price range.
The slow UFS 2.1 storage is the main con with the Sense 8, it can be felt when certain apps load their history (eg: Reddit).

If I read the materials correctly, Sense 9 do not have physical dual sim slot. Just one physical and one esim, like iphone. Is my understanding correct?

Btw I already have a few scratches after the pre-applied screen protector came off... so a screen protector seems to be a must for Aquos series.

Aquos 8. Notice Sharp never mention what kind of glass are they using for the screen.​

They do for the R series.
The screen protector had some air bubbles after 3-4 months of use (hiking & rain), so I ended up removing it.

Yes, Sense 8.
It is obvious only in certain apps .
1) When loading Reddit history it takes > 15 seconds (didn't encounter this on my previous Nord 2).
2) FSM (Fund Supermarket )

In terms of regular use, it is quite alright.

Sense9 lowest 477 in Lazada for me, if got green, I probably already pulled the trigger yesterday.

Sharp phone prices really drops a lot over time... I remember Sense8 launched at $518.
Think it was maybe $30-50 cheaper at some mobile phone shop then.

I think they drop even faster than sony phones. Within 1 month i saw used set of r8s pro at 470 on carousell.... 999 to 470 in 1 month
