I keep getting a "Sorry, we are unable to process your request. Please try again." irrespective of device and browser :(

I even tried that replace url trick but that leads to here too after filling my details
Chat with starhub live on WhatsApp. Give them the link you were trying to sign up. Once they know it’s not a broken link they will be able to solve the issue for you. Alternatively, ask if you can sign up at their physical store

StarHub shop do allow you to sign up for $29.55 5Gbps plan.

I think it depends on the shop and the staff. It seems to me many CS and Shop staff still do not know of the Starhub S$29.55 per month 5Gbps special offers (especially the ONT option). But it is getting better now that more and more people are able to sign up.

Ya, some CSO at shop is good. They assist you when you show them the link and show them it hang when signing up. They will help you on this. While some insist you to sign up using the link.

I agree to this. I chat with Whatsapp then I asked them to signup for me stating the 5gbps ONT at 29.55 using my newly created hub id. I received the service agreement and installation schedule within 1hr. Then I have to WA again to change installation date. All done without the hassle.

Yes, TP-Link HB710 at S$192 is very good deal.

On the other hand, for people who want to use two nodes mesh solution, two HB710 is at S$384 and you may need to add a 2.5G/10G switch in the DB box if you want to have functional 2.5G LAN ports in the rooms, along with using 10G Ethernet backhaul for the second HB710.

Or you may have to use EB810v + HB710 mesh.

Two nodes of TUF-BE6500 (quad 2.5G ports) are still cheaper with nice Asus FW features. And you still have functional 2.5G ports in the other rooms. Of course the limitation is that the WAN port is only at 2.5Gbps so the 5Gbps plan is uses effectively as a 2.5Gbps plan. The upgrade path will be to go with Asus RT-BE88U in the future as main router.

In the end, different people may have different preferences for the main router selection.

I read on TP Link main page, got to use AIGNET app if using the HB710.

@xiaofan, Do you recommend HB710 to pair with the Archer series EB800 or EB810v? Using Tether App..

Dont like so many apps..

Thanks.

HB710 better mesh with HB710/EB810. Customized firmware for SH.
Are you using HB710? How's the performance?

If you use TP-Link Archer BE800 (consumer model), then better not to use EB810v/HB710 as mesh node since EB810v/HB710 are service provider models.

Starhub actually recommends HB710 to mesh with itself or EB810v.

BTW, there is no EB800, I believe you mean to say Archer BE800 which is a consumer model and I will say it is better than EB810v.
