oted $4399 for black friday price, it is m
that's a good price, really have to look around. Yesterday, i went to different CEIT stores, each quoted me high price, till i tell them Sony Store offered the best price, then they do price match. Where did you see 4399 from?
If u are still hesitating between X90L and Bravia 7... just close eyes and hoot Bravia 7 with no regrets.

The reflection issue is not really a big problem in bright room.

TV Speakers still able to handle daily use. But if u want the bass/impact, do purchase a soundbar or speakers system to enhance your experience.

Picture quality and colors are quite ok out of the box with no calibrating.

Google TV OS works as it is - with popular apps installed - youtube, disney+, prime, netflix. If you want to surf internet, u may download internet browser app and install with ease due to Google TV OS built-in.

3yrs warranty direct via Sony.

However, if u buy via HN, Courts, Gaincity and purchase their extended warranty - this means after 3rd year - got any issues - u have to call the retailer and they will notify Sony tech to come rectify.
Was comparing both side by side X90L vs Bravia 7, i have to say that Bravia 7 has less reflections than X90L. My living room is always super bright, hence will need bright ones like Bravia 7. Thanks, extended warranty from these retailers is really a good assurance. Will consider that
Have had the 75 " Bravia 7 for the last 1-2 months.Installed in the living room.

Not using the Native TV apps . Have my Nvidia Shield TV pro 2019 connected to it.
Apps used - Youtube ( unfortunately the Shield lacks the HDR support for Youtube - but it looks fab anyways ) , Disney + , Netflix , Prime Video US (VPN).

Settings https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/sony/bravia-7-qled/settings

- Professional mode under the Picture settings and then increase/decrease brightness depending on the room.I have my brightness at 15.
- Dolby Vision bright for those apps that support

Its just remarkable how nice the panel looks .

I don't see much/if ANY blooming ( had a 2012 model 55 " Sony and it bloomed like crazy esp at life end )

Sound quality - ok I guess but I cant stand TV sound.it's a thin panel after all.
Have the TV connected to a set of small active speakers + an SVS subwoofer.

I did see the 65" Bravia 8 ( OLED ) side by side in store at Best Denki Vivocity and was very tempted since the blacks and contrast are definitely better but the Organic part of OLED and potential for burn in scares me.So I decided to upsize and got a decent enough deal on the 7.

Highly recommend!!
that's good, not much blooming as X90L, due to more local array dimming and the mini-LEDs. I was looking at Bravia8 too, tempting, but no. It's not ideal for my bright living room, even the sony salesman at sony store, recommend Bravia 7 over Bravia 8 for my use case.

I also tried the tv speakers for Bravia 9, i was super impressed with that.

Max without the fastest car is only half true. He had the fastest car when Adrian Newey was still with RBR. It was only after he left things went downhill. Before that Max was winning races all the way.

I prefer the v8 era not the 1.6 hybrid for raw engine sound

disney+ is really better than Netflix imo.

Yeah. Next year will be interesting when Lewis is in Red, and his team is forever checking. Some teams will forgo 2025, and focus on new regulations in 2026. We will see which team or driver will come out top. I believe, it will be a battle between MV1 vs LH44 again, but a energised Lewis in Red.

Disney+ is great, yesterday was talking to the salesman in Sony store, he told me, there were optimised profiles and colour for Netflix and Amazon Prime, but not for Disney+. It's sad, cos i don't watch Netflix or Amazon Prime, as i only have Disney+. Disney+ have Dolby Vision, HDR10m 4K HDR+ and more. Hopefully, in future, they push out an update to support disney+ codes

Again if cost is the main concern, there are cheaper options from many brands.. especially if you can't perceive the difference..

Big Big thing for me as if like get wife as TV is my wife.

Now next headache which soundbar to get. $1499 Samsung Q990D or Sony Bar 8 at same prize but BAr 8 without surround speakers.

Yes BD roadshow. Yes think this bank promotion is still ongoing, min spent $2K. Yes again is 3+2 years warranty, 4th year onwards by BD.

take note Funan BD roadshow has ended. Now Parkway Parade roadshow is from 25Nov-1Dec.
Maybe there is going to be a OCBC promo coming not sure how it will be.

I heard going with Sony SB can use the Sony TV as the centre speaker - so if I am getting a Sony, no point to look at Samsung bah

Just got a new JBL soundbar, my new sony TV immediately detect the new soundbar via HDMI eARC. Seems like true, my old samsung soundbar too old for the new TV to detect. Pretty good detection via HDMI eARC. Dolby atmos is good and supported. Good TV must have good soundbar.

I was told by the Sony salesman NOT to use that feature for some reason.

Did he say WHY?

Can't be the manufacturer is still making use of this feature (Samsung has their equivalent too) and the salesperson advised against it
