Maybank current promo end Jan 2025. Then Feb 2025 switch to CIMB and 31 Mar 2025 get bonus no need wait so long for Feb placement.
You need to place 5k incremental sum first to "register" for the promo right?

I think cause midnight, your body clock want you to sleep.
Incase you are sleepy or you forget, CIMB runs concurrent promo. So by then, Feb 2025 promo is different from this Dec 2024 promo

Yes, look at point 4 of the TnC for the joining requirements

CIMB pretty good then compared to eSaver, even eSaver end of period only giving 3.05% which is pretty low. Anyone know if transfer today CIMB would count the interest or not on Sunday?

I refer to today 1 Dec 2024 latest website back to normal liao no more chut pattern. This new promo is 1 Dec 2024 to end Feb 2025. So I join in Feb 2025 then 31 Mar 2025 get bonus. For ongoing previous promo I never join at all so easy to count no headache.

They must have hear complaints for previous promo lar. Chut so many pattern so late get bonus turn off.

i have a question , hope you guys here who understand this can reply here although i will email the bank later to double confirm

let's say i joined in november batch , my point of comparison last day of October only $5 inside ....... it will "mature" on 1st feb 2025
if I want to pull out almost all my funds in late Jan 2025 , around 1 week before 1st feb 2025 ........ in order to topup cpf account for family before end of Jan
to preserve the 3.3% interest in the first 3 weeks of January and all of Nov Dec .... can I pull most money out until left 7k to remain qualified and entitled to bonus interest ? I know the requirement is 5k fresh money i can leave 2k more to be safe.

from the PDF TnC illustration scenario .... you can draw lower for 1 middle month below 5k fresh fund , effect is no bonus interest ... and final month topup back to 'regain' qualification .... I didn't knew that , i thought once fail 1 day get boot out of entire promotion .... so it's only affect 1 month
in my case i will maintain above the 5k fresh funds throughout entire period

I remember reading clearly in CIMB TnC (to avoid any doubt) that I can participate concurrent with two accounts for the promotion. eg. Fastsaver and Fastsaver-i.

I cannot seem to find it any more. Anyone know where it is written?

My understanding it that it is ok to NOT meet $5k on a specific day - you just will not get bonus interest for that day.

But you MUST meet the $5k criteria at the end of the month (if not, you lose the bonus interest for every single day in the month).

In short, Yes.

You can draw down, but in this case you are not.

As long as you maintain the incremental 5K against 31st Oct for all days INCLUDING last day of the month, you are safe. Since it's 7K, you don't have to worry

Probably point 3.

Qualifying Account(s) refers to the CIMB FastSaver / FastSaver-i / StarSaver / StarSaver-i / StarSaver (Savings) / StarSaver (Savings)-i / Junior Saver account. For Existing Customers, Qualifying Account(s) refers to existing Qualifying Account(s) opened before the Promotion Period and does not include Qualifying Account(s) opened during the Promotion Period. By way of example, for Existing Customer who currently holds a Fastsaver account before 1 Dec 2024, and opens a new Starsaver account on 1 Dec 2024, Qualifying Account(s) refers to the Fastsaver account only, and does not include the Starsaver account under this Promotion.

To addon, while you are in the Nov promo, it does not mean that the 3 months depends on each other.
They are also independent of each other.

You lack the 5K incremental on let say Jan last day, you will still get Bonus for Nov and Dec.. vice versa.

In short, treat it like a flexible FD but with a min sum of 7K (in your case). Just don't dip below this threshold and you get your bonus for Jan as well.

I just remember they spelled it out clearly previously. Indicating that you can participate in as many individual or joint CIMB accounts as long as one meets the two $5k criterias.

I think that was a conversation between you and another member in this thread earlier last month or was it Oct.

it should be something on the line of having one star, one fast.
Star promo ended, transfer to other bank then transfer to fast right?

I don't think CIMB previously say can since it contradicts Point 6 of the TNC

EDIT -
Logically, in the entire TnC, only Point 3 infers that you can have multiple accounts participating
