Notice the Google "transit" widget is no longer on iOS18 which is sad as it is a helpful widget to check bus timings near my location.

just connect it to power and let it idle for a few hours to complete the background tasks. right after I updated to 18.1 I also saw a message in the Battery page that background tasks are still in progress

I have already let it idle for very long. Bought the phone couple of weeks ago.
Take a look at the screenshot for the battery usage (9hour background)

I updated to iOS 18.2 RC and accidentally activated Apple Intelligence 🤦🏻‍♂️ on UK English.
