Spigen's SP don't have black borders but there's also no rainbow effect as the glass coverage extends slightly beyond the screen.

I know of only 2 SP (without Black borders) that don't have rainbow effect - the Spigen GlastR EZfit and the Belkin Ultraglass 2 :D

Spigen is good.

Went to shop recommended this amazingthing protector, little black border but this glass is thick i think it's affecting the sensitivity. bloody $25

As far as I'm aware, there is no black border SP in the market that doesn't eat into the iPhone 16 Pro series screen due to the slimmer bezels this year.

I know a few brands updated their SP (including the popular FloLab) but even the best version seems to cover the screen minimally at certain viewing angles..

I said many times here, one of the best glass you can put on now is the Spigen GlasTR. You can get for S$2X only with 2 pieces inside. Don't bother spending more than S$30 for 1 piece of glass.

Don't have Black Borders. It's really one of the best options for iPhone 16 Pro/Pro Max.

For the dust issue, I just use cases that keeps the gap between case and glass as minimal as possible so that dust don't collect easily.

Thanks. Strange why everyone makes black border and cock it up. Damn frustrating

r&d problem loh. many co. use back same tech to produce SP.
even a no brand co. willingly to pump $ into R&D also no pt. ppl will still choose spigen's SP.
China all used to be no black border for iPhone 14, 15. Then knn 16 they suddenly all do black border and cock it up. Sigh

I think black borders started getting popular because several years ago phone makers curved the corners of the glass so the screen is not fully flat. That is also when Whitestone Dome Glass gained popularity. To counter the curve, there is Whitestone and there is black borders protector so that the SP can extend to the edges without having bubbles appearing at the corners.

Now that the latest iPhone series has ultra thin bezels, the black borders SP are getting outdated but them companies are still not adapting fast enough.

For non Apple cases, there are also the Spigen Tough Armor T, Supcase series, Otterbox Lumen, Otterbox Symmetry Clear
Torras starting to rollout cases with camera control protection. Their CS messaged me thru Taobao app a few days ago. Too bad my current Torras case for my IP16PM used less than a month. No reason to change until IP17 launches.
