Toggling AI off then back on didn’t resolve it. Still no sign of Image Playground 🙄

Those who have Image Playground is your REGION SG or US? My language, keyboard language & siri language are all US english. Only region is SG. But even then I temp set region to US also Image Playground didn’t appear.

Iphone 16 PM user here with iOS 18.2 not beta. Genmoji & all other features work even the newly designed Mail app, so clearly 18.2 was installed properly and AI is working.

Right now it's the ease of use, no? From siri, can immediately ask chatgpt. no need to open the chatgpt app. who knows what will come in the future?
I think some folks expect a Star Wars like hologram to appear on their phones when they invoke  intelligence 😂 joking chill.

right now it’s just integrating all the popular AI tools in 1 place for users who want to try them. I dunno what people are expecting really

I have no issues with this and certainly should be the way. But right now most of your responses are coming from ChatGPT which is technically the same as the app. Unless you are using Siri as a shortcut to ChatGPT

I always like your comments and respected them (especially on Apple haters), but right now you are mocking things like "Star Wars like hologram, etc...". I accepted that I am the only one here very vocal over Apple Intelligence assumed that "some folks" means referring to me.

Realistically speaking, no one and including myself is expecting that. All I was expecting is something that works. Like really works. Even if they are minimal features and felt "beta" like with the current stage of the tech.

I did some simple testing using Apple's Intelligence to perhaps check some of my on-device information. It is not working and is directing me to OpenAI. At this stage with minimal feature, I expect some of this to actually work.

I am in this space and have been embracing these AI tools for my work and efficiency, but you mocking the problem with comments like expecting "Star Wars like hologram" is not accepting of the real problem.

I know many here doesn't seem to like what I've said (including the lurkers) but evading the problems when minimal features that are expected to work but not working is not helping in this (AI) space.

Personal Context is not even here yet, so I expected more features and a much better response to come in later stages. And I want to integrate Personal Context with Apple Intelligence in my app.

it’s a joke.

when you say it’s not working you’re talking about the Siri portion? it seems like the writing tools, image gen, offloading tasks to ChatGPT (when local models can’t respond to the requests) are working?

Siri will get better. Wasnt it demoed in the keynote? Siri can open settings, interact with apple apps etc.. just have to wait for the features to be rolled out.
