I am getting from HV 75X90L for 3099

I was recently quoted $3947 at BD at GWC and A5000 soundbar at $999

It was originally 3399 or 3499. Then $200 off due to brand fair (Sony x Harvey Norman) + a further $100 discount voucher from HN. So end up 3099. If you use DBS / POSB card for instalment payment plan, got a further $80/100 off (depending on value).

Above $2.3k I think is $100 but fully redeemed when I walked past HN Westgate yesterday.

Can't be the manufacturer is still making use of this feature (Samsung has their equivalent too) and the salesperson advised against it

something about TV lifespan blah blah.

Wasnt interested to ask more as I don't have Sony speakers/soundbar.

wow suddenly become so lively, good.
Me too finally pull the trigger too at Funan roadhow for 65"Bravia 7, after 13 years the 3D bravia still working.
Took the offered set at $2239 which sales said need to be delieverd by end of the month. so arrange for delievery tmr. also bought the Safety 5 extended warranty at around $358. Same go by 12 months POSB/DBS installment to get the $88 discount.
Big Big thing for me as if like get wife as TV is my wife.

Now next headache which soundbar to get. $1499 Samsung Q990D or Sony Bar 8 at same prize but BAr 8 without surround speakers.

I tried searching the net for any issues with using the TV as the centre speaker - there were some reports that users had intermittent hissing sound where some rectified by replacing the cable that Sony provided while others had to get the technician to replace a circuit board (alleging that it's a known issue with a particular TV model)

Otherwise, I don't see any other reports of TV failing prematurely after using it as a centre speaker

Sometimes I take what the SE says with a pinch of salt

Where can find $2239 for 65XR70? Demo set?

at that roadshow was selling for $2499. salesman offer say there is one set at $2239 which he assure me that it is brand new. after much thinking decides to take this offer. If not I will wait and wait maybe until next year new model come out for price drop further.
ya think maybe its a "unopen" display set. Not sure if there is any difference ..

and got Salesman tells me that using as TV as centre speaker got BIG difference. very good compare to using other brand sound bar lor.

The TV as a Centre speaker is a far cry from a real centre speaker in a HT system

I don't have a full HT system, but I intend to use my soundbar + karaoke speakers (left and right) for watching videos.

Not sure if there will be any lag between these 2 system

While trying to update setting on Ps5 those HDR, ALLR? but it shows something like device cannot be updated. any setting must I do on Bravia 7 before trying to do the setting on PS5 ?

Go into settings and change the HDMI port settings on HDMI 3/4 to Advanced.The PS5 should likely be plugged into one of these ports.
Im not familiar with the PS5 though

using 75 inch Bravia 7 for around 3 weeks since, very good, impresed with the colours and blacks, so far never notice blooming.

so I just registered today using my Google account.
There are a few movies included in the subscription - old ones though, aside from the 10 credits.

It is crapy product, dodge at all cost. I bought a 65X85J @ 2.6k and it spoiled in 3 years and 4 months ( coincides with the expiry of the warranty of course ). On average, I used it less than 2 hrs daily. Now looking at TCL, at least it offers 5 years warranty
