perhaps that outlet have your record? assuming you're the only customer who returned everything, except for the remote?

if that's the case, then that makes sense the CSO informed you to just pass to any Singtel staff for that outlet?

Finally decided to cancel my Singtel service after so many years (initial sign-up in Feb 2012, together with Singtel Fibre 100Mbps).

I returned the Singtel TV box (along with the power supply and remote). In fact it was faulty since early August and I did not bother to go to the shop (nearest is at West Mall) to replace it.

The staff in Jurong Point TV counter told me it should be done by end of tomorrow, even thought he acknowledgement email says that the cancellation will be effective within three working days.

Contract expired on 18 Oct 2024 but I forgot to cancel earlier (remember wrongly the date), but never mind the extra charge is pro-rated and not high even though it wil be based on original price of S$23.90 per month.

Promotional price --> 50% off Family Favuorite Pack, S$12.18 per month with free basic Singtel TV box rental (original price S$24.35).

Now I still got Singtel Fibre (5Gbps plan at S$49.90 per month) and two Singtel SIM Only Plus lines (S$20.37 per month).

The counter handles retention. I do not want the service any more as seldom using. So not really discussing about that.

Anyway, my existing offer was pretty good: 50% off and free basic Singtel TV box rental, only paying S$12.18 per month for Singtel Family Favourite Pack. I kind of kept it because of the low price. If not I would have cancelled a few years ago since the kids no longer watched the TV.

The good thing about the new Singtel TV service is that you do not really need the Singtel TV Box (traditional one, or the ne Android TV OS based one), you can use Singtel Cast. Singtel Cast app is supported on a few streaming box, including the cheap Mi Box S Gen 2 (below S$70), Sony Android TV, Apple TV, if you want to watch on the large screen.

some instructions to restart "singtel tv equipment" like router, etc but i just did so for the box and it worked? no did not take pics unfortunately

Recently found out that Singtel has changed their TV packs (as per their website). More expensive after I calculated.

Currently I am still on the older Jingxuan Trio pack.
