Not possible for honor watch 5 to connect with Huawei health app either? I read that some honor watches were still supported by huawei health but couldn't find any confirmation for the watch 5

Anyone has problem restoring Whatsapp chat history backup? Troubleshoot one whole day kept restoring fail.

First, tried to clone it from my old phone. Cloning was successful but the phone hanged after restarting. Was told by Shopee cso to factory reset, update firmware then clone. Ok, this was fixed.

Next, tried to restore whatsapp chat history and it failed at the 99% mark, citing restore failed. From here, i have tried all sort of methods to restore including restoring the phone to factory setting again & it still fail to restore. Literally spent 1 whole 初二 to setup this phone Zzzzz.

Now i cannot use the phone & have to continue using my old s23u.

Anyone having this issue?

This is probably Whatspp's issue rather than phone issue.

Whatsapp now has a new way function "transfer chat" to new phone. have you tried that?

1. Transfer chat
2. Restore from phone backup (copied backup file from s23u and pasted inside magic 7 folder)
3. Restore from whatsapp backup on google
4. Clean installation. Restore phone to factory setting & install whatsapp

most likely your whatsapp backup size too large. you try to restore via online backup, that worked for me

What is ur old phone

for traditional way of copying files over to new phone, you should login to the new phone then paste over the files from old whatsapp folder to new whatsapp folder.

whatsapp, itself can backup to google account. don't find any problem with it. unless your is iOS....then u go n scold iOS and Whatsapp....nothing to do with any of the Android phones.

those are old honor devices still under Huawei era.

so far so good, snappy and nice screen, camera also doing a great job,

only thing is the magic OS IU can have more functionality, such as i am able to access the app info from home page by holding down the app n access from there, they do not have it, which is a bummer

the screen stated 6.8 but doest feel like it, maybe because it is 21:9 , as i come from s23ultra, so abit not used to the ratio

speaker is really solid, loud n bassy

coming from s23u for the past 2 years

i did not have any issue porting over my stuff to magic 7 pro, whatsapp restore was a breeze for me, it is likely the whatsapp or the backup like gdrive is giving the issue, not the phone issue.

of course mine is only 11GB, i did backup videos which is insane to do so, it will take 2 days to restore n phone will contonue to be hot n battery will drain

so far i think i haven use that yet, any tempered glass i can buyn use which i is high quality?

the one i buy is shiat , giving finger print scanner issue, then got a circle cutout thing on the fingerprint side,

and the corner are block by the glass black stuff, my screen look smaller than before

oh ya the charging speed also insane, my sammy from 70% to 100% also need 45 mins charge , this one 10 mins like that full liao
