so does the 7gb roaming applies for this or its tagging to the 300GB local (SG data) if we go the 3 mentioned countries?

Your 7GB of roaming data is usable in more than 60 countries including popular tourist destinations like Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korean, Taiwan, and Thailand. You also get 400 minutes of IDD calls and an additional 100 minutes to Myanmar. The 100 minutes of talk time to Myanmar was added on 7 February this year.

Simba is smart this time round on a business perspective. To entice people to upgrade to $12 plan. Just by paying another $2 a month, you get additional benefits of using local data in Indonesia, including Malaysia. Not only that, you get additional 4GB international roaming.

This will increase their ARPU further, and stronger cashflow over the past months due to the CNY and NDP top-up promo.

In a recent news report, Starhub ARPU is pretty bad and it's going down, due to eight, by offering a lower end plan with it's sub-brand, it's ARPU drops and doesn't look good to it's shareholders. Although starhub increased its subscribers base due to eight offerings, it's ARPU went down and isn't really not earning. In the long run, doesn't look good.

I am currently in Shanghai city.... the coverage of Simba where I am staying is simply terrible.
It was no network found almost 99% of the time....

I had an esim from Eight on my iphone .. it worked well but only has 2 GB and ended within 1.5 days.

I need to buy another plan from Shoppe during my stay here.....

No such issue when using simba in europe, australia, korea, thailand or malaysia...

very disappointed.

lol
Shanghai is very big !!!

Simba is partnering with China Mobile..

Eight is also partnering with China Mobile
the e-sim from shoppe is also tied to China Mobile.

Only my simba sim card cant pick up any local network most of the time.......... i dun not think it is phone related..... as i had reboot the phone... took out the simba sim card, wipe it.......reinsert.
Sometime the simba can hook on to China Mobile.. but it disconnect within minutes.

they asked to try manually switching to the 3 roaming partners China Mobile, China Telecom, and China Unicom. and set the APN to “internet.” I contacted them on Facebook.

I'm using a samsung, in the mobile network settings should I toggle "Use 5G standalone networks" on or off? My network mode is now set as "5G/LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)"

this kind of plan is good for those who will be staying long in China.

Currently Sg passport holder can stay in China for 30 days visa free.
