anyway i got confirmation from the Oppo rep, N5 bought from Telco is also 2 years international warrenty, just that theirs is only 3 months screen protection as compared to Oppo store+lazada+shopee and authorised retail stores is 365 days screen protection+ coverage

what difference between the warranty and screen protect though?

if screen break no screen protection but got warranty then how?

Actually 1849 vs 2199 PO price is 350 difference which is for the "magnetic free gift set"
The oppo accessories can buy from TB at 50% off the retail price here

i just came back from oppo suntec outlet, i compare the photos taken from the N5 vs my N3, the pictures totally cmi.

There is a store selling some kum guat snacks / preserved snacks at the 2 oclock direction(your back facing oppo outlet and your front facing the taxi stand/pick up/drop off point).


you guys can do a 3x zoom and a 6x zoom photo and then compare to the in-store N3 using the same settings 4:3 / 16:9.

Using the above test for the zoom test and also a normal 1x shot against environment around oppo outlet. i totally gave up hope on purchasing the N5.
*I was still convincing myself that 1 sensor generation backwards wouldnt be too bad. But the above test totally made me changed my mind.


The images would look bad as i would assume like in this case:

That's a very bold claim in the camera department

you can repeat the similiar test. just pick up the in-store find n3 and do the zoom test with the n5.

The only thing that i felt N5 won, was the 3* telephoto for macro.

I find that for productivity department, the N3 still functions well.

OK done order went through this time.. it seem i have some dark history with singtel...

Now Shopee has some sale and giving out 10% discount capped at 200$. So if we purchase Find N5 from the Oppo Official shop, its 2199 - 200 = 1999. In SingTel, the price 1849 after discounts.

So the price difference of 150 definitely justifies the 2nd year warranty, 1 year screen care along with the freebies.

How to get the 10% to work?
